:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: I didn't know that Walt was doing Snow White!!!

I'm trying to decide if I reallllllllllllllllllllllllly want that diet coke right now..craving one since 9 am. Time for a stroll to albertson's, one of my second homes.

The others being Winco ,Food 4 less, Ralph's and Target. :goodvibes

Well I guess you decided you realllllllllllllly did want Diet Coke because your green lights off now!:rotfl2:

Ooops! I think I messed up, but no way to fix it now.

I should have warned FunnyG about the Snow White comment. She just went to get Diet Coke and now she's going to laugh and have it come out her nose! Sorry FunnyG!!:rolleyes1

I think I'll go grab some lunch and wander through Albertson's looking for good deals! I think they are starting a BOGO sale today. Anyway that will give Bernice time to get back and wipe all the diet coke off her keyboard & monitor!:) :) :)

I'm back, no diet coke nasal drainage thanks!

I think it's funny you went to Albertson's, I just came back from there.

Not sure if you get the same ad as So Cal, our ad has coupons on the back, free candy wyb X products. And a few of the typical $10 for 10 sales-- Propel deal buy 10 get 3 free, decent deal and good choice for hubby to get away from phosphorus based pop/soda.
Last week was a good one, freebies with coupons on General Mills products.. but I never went.

This weekend I plan to stock up again with freebies /cheap at Ralph's with double coupons.

Did they fianlly make an offical announcement? I know Al Lutz has been hashing on and on about this for awhile.
I'm excited to see the changes. When we first started going we used to like DCA, lately we rarely bother entering DCA.:confused3
Hubby commented that it "doesn't feel right over there, the music is all wrong and there's not much to do".

hmm... go to Mcdonalds and play Monopoly!!! :P

hmmmm too far for my transportation option today-- feet!

---------------------
ok, got the real deal from LP... I wondered how this retheming would tie in with the DCA name.. this snippet is what caught my eye.....

"The creative evolution of Disney's California Adventure will connect Guests to Walt's own California adventure and reflect the place that he found when he first arrived with a cardboard suitcase in his hand and a head full of dreams."

So it's Walt Disney's California Adventure >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> WDCA

And another that caught my eye from a Wall Street Journal article:

"The Mulholland Madness ride, which re-creates a careening drive along a famous Los Angeles street, will be rethemed featuring Disney characters."

umm, I didn't realize that it even HAD a theme to begin with. Did anyone know it was based a on a famous street? Most not be too famous, no connection for a person like me who is not a native Californian, I had no clue.

I thought Lutz said they were ripping it out. It's one of the rides that I wish would disappear.. Maliboomer and Golden Dreams can join the junk pile as well IMO. Golden Dreams, snore fest...
Maliboomer -- not family friendly.

From what I read.. those will be gone.

But why oh why keep the MM ride??? :sad2:

okay we are watching transformers and ds4 is bawling because of bunglbee. how sweet..
how is everyone today?

My husband was on the verge of tears several times in that movie. He was thrilled to have his favorite childhood toys come to life.

Which reminds me, we need to buy the DVD. Hmmm, Target, McDonald's, and watching Transformers-- sounds like a good way to spend my evening :thumbsup2

You really have to wonder what the job advertisement looked like:

ARE YOU TOTALLY INCOMPETENT? If so this is the company for you! We are looking for completely untalented people that lack common sense. Are you able to cut people off on the phone, do you ignore your email, can you mail out letters without postage, will you do anything anyone asks you to do even if it makes no sense at all? Most importantly we are looking for individuals or teams that use the phrases: I don't know, because the computer say's so or I'm sorry that's not my responsibility/department! No need to send a resume, just show up, grab the first empty chair and act like you know what you're doing!

:rotfl2: :rotfl:

"miniaturized by a process only known by Tinkerbell" :rotfl2:

Storybook Land is my favorite ride at DL. But I only like it at night!

Oh that reminds me. Yesterday I got another email from my dear friend Aziz Hamid who is dieing of throat & colon cancer (yep, he's got it at both ends!):lmao: . He is still alive!!!!:yay: :yay: :yay:

Right now he's in a hospital in the UK and urgently wanting me to give his millions of dollars away to charities. Keeping 20% for myself due to my troubles of course!

I replied right away and told him I was so glad to know that he is still alive. I will be delighted to help with his financial matters. Signed Tink R. Bell!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

They didn't respond to my last one that I signed Mick E. Mouse, so we'll see if this one works!:thumbsup2

Wow, I didn't know you know my friend too!
