Hmmm... I cant seem to get Mikalah down for maps these days... But she has ended up on the couch napping for the pat 2 days. oh well... some sleep is better then none I guess.

My mom wants us to take her sightseeing in LA when we are down there. We are definitely doing Hollywood... Seeing the stars and whatnot. I wonder what else there is to do. Any Ideas?

Dh is still feverish. Its weird... he is lightheaded and sore. Sounds like he is a little fluish to me. Hopefully no one else gets it.

Hi Guys! Got a call from my sister today. I have been pushing her to get mammograms, etc. every since I got diagnosed. She got a mammogram last year. But of course the doctors thought she was crazy, she's to young.... She made them do another one this year. But they once again treated her like she was crazy and she basically had to lie and tell them that our entire family had breast cancer at age 35, etc... to get the insurance to approve another mammogram because she's under 40.

Well they saw something suspicious and she had to go back and get another one. Now they are sending her to a surgeon for a biopsy. I'm so glad she's getting a biopsy done, it's the only way to know for sure if a lump is cancerous. She's of course a little freaked out by the whole thing. But I'm so glad that I pushed her to push them for all of the testing.

I really do believe that everything happens for a reason - we may just not know what the reason is right away. Maybe the reason I got cancer was so I could save my sister's life by making sure her's got detected early. Who knows. I'm going to do lots of praying for her & will hope that it turns out ok. But I just have a feeling that it is cancer. From everything she described - the itching, stabbing pain, etc... it really sounds just like mine. I just hope they caught it early enough that she won't have to go through a mastectomy & chemo.

Every kid is so different. My DD took 2 naps a day until she was about 5. But DS only took 1 nap a day from about 6 months on. Then when he hit about 2 there was no way he would take a nap. You could lay him down, but he would get right up or just lay there & play. Maybe she's not feeling well just like you DH. Sure hope everyone gets to feeling better soon! I need to make a trip up to meet with you guys, but it seems like someone is always sick!

oh man alison...I hope everything turns out ok for your sister...my prayers are with you both...if it is cancer she will really need you...and Im sure its going to bring back alot of painful reminders of what you went through...but I will pray for you both to have the strength whatever the outcome is....

Every kid is so different. My DD took 2 naps a day until she was about 5. But DS only took 1 nap a day from about 6 months on. Then when he hit about 2 there was no way he would take a nap. You could lay him down, but he would get right up or just lay there & play. Maybe she's not feeling well just like you DH. Sure hope everyone gets to feeling better soon! Yes... yes she is sick. I quickly got clued into that when she started blowing chunks all over me around 4:30. Now... as you all know, Mikalah is just a chunk blower. Whenever she gets upset, and cries really hard, there she goes. But this time, we were just sitting there. She was complaining of being cold... just like dh. She fell asleep around 5:30 or 6.. She also wouldnt go to anyone but me. Not all that odd, but when I asked her if she wanted Ice cream (since she whadnt eaten anyting almost all day) and she said yes... So I was going to get it and she grabbed me and said, NO!!! Daddy get it! You heard the kid... I guess I will have to sit and hold her while you get us.. I mean HER some ice cream... Then she only had 2 bites.. That is a sure sign she is illen.Oh well...

Okay... hear is my thought for Christmas... Instead of getting the Disney Christmas tree that my sister wanted in her room, I thought I would get everyone a little tree for there rooms... ANd I would take some plain bulbs and puffy paint and put their name on it, with the year and write Disneyland on the back. Hopefully I can find some cheap Disney Ornaments on sale somewhere... Buy some cheap stockings to have hung in the rooms... and get some stuff for fillers. What do you all think? Or maybe just some bags we can use for stockings... Since there will be most likely no place to hang them. I wonder if I can get the hotel to decorate my sisters room before she checks in. I am going to make a ton of candy to take down..... Hopefully it wont get icky in the suitcase... I figure if ends up being to much stuff to pack, I can either ship it to my sister, or straight to the hotel...

So... just got off the phone with my mom. Trying to get some Idea of what her plans are for our DL trip... She told me what she wants to do sightseeing wise, so thats something I can work on at least. I have an idea what to do fro the dining... Here is what I am thinking. 22nd when she come in... Maybe House of Blues... Dont know for sure though. CHristmas dinner at the BB. Well... lunch really. Then we are doing Lilo and Stitch for Breakfast on the 26th.

Aint that the truth! But Mikalah is peacefully sleeping, and DH went to work. He couldnt find his keys... and wanted to stay home. COME ON!! Because you cant find your keys? Not in this life time bucko! So I found his stuff, and shipped him off!
