huh?

I'll live.. just not getting things done like.. umm the 6 loads of laundry piled in my living room.

I only have enough quarters for 3 loads-- maybe I'll send the teenager to the bank for 2 more rolls. I ttied yesterday-- only to realize DUH! the bank was closed for the holiday that no one celebrates.. columbus day.

dont feel bad...my aunt said she went to the bank and pulled on the door when she realized it:rolleyes1

Well I strolled down to Albertson's, took a glance toward the bank there-- why the heck is closed???!
Bought stamps with the intent to mail off bills, when it hit me..... ummm no bank, no mail- crap!

I'm here Lynn!!

Megan!!! Welcome home to the DIS!!! Get some rest and then like Lynn said, do a trip report for us OK?????????

And the pork roasts were yummy. How come you didn't come for dinner Lynn? :confused3 By the way, we didn't grill them. Dh got home too late so I just put them in the oven. They were so moist and tender. Today I made leftover sandwiches with them, and spread the sauce on the bread too. Very yummy, and not too fatty. Ok, back to sewing for a little. I'm multi-tasking here. :rolleyes1

(I don't think Shawna would like to come to my house for dinner.)

:scared1: There was a shooting today in the city I live in. How freaky!

:scared:
Hubby and I were talking about crime in CA vs MN, I pointed out to hubby .. population density plays a role in the amount of crime.. big city = more crime:guilty:

He's feeling kinda down, had to pay for his meds thru our new insurance. He's been paying only a $1 or $4 for meds for years, $10 and $20 copays is a shock in comparision. That and the doc screwed it up by writing it as 100 count for everything, resulting in the higher copays ($30 for more than 60 day supply).
One we made them fix it. Med he takes 3 times a day, they gave him 100 pills... uhhhhhh he was being charged another $10 for 3 more days worth of pills!
:

Back to the drawing board, still trying to find a family doc for him. The one we were given is in Riverside, last appt for day is 4pm. Ok, so what do working people do??? Take sick days for every appointment?

The Moreno Valley clinic is open until 7 pm, but they weren't accepting new patients until November.

It's all so frustrating, hubby is wigged out as it is with work and not feeling well. So he keeps saying we should move back , if it doesn't get better.

Told him to shut it and wait it out. :upsidedow Yeah I wasn't nice about it.

okay... im back. Had to get dh to upload the pics. We had the best vaca we have ever had. It was so relaxing... and so very nice that we could be spontaneous. We saw some big tress... the ocean... my sister.... Some friends in Stockton, and on a whim, visited my mom in Reno!:thumbsup2 I am going to try to do a trip report... But in the mean time, I will show you all some of my very favorite pics..:rolleyes1

Good question! I did put just regular mustard on today, before I thought about putting on the sauce too. It still tasted good, but maybe the heavy mustard would be too much. I will try some again tonight for a repeat performance including the apple and mustard, and maybe pecans. I will report back again.
As you can see not much sewing getting done here. :sad2:

I have insurance through Blue Cross (PPO). My co-pay was always $10 when I went to the doctor. Then last year they shot up to $20!! :scared1:

I hope that your DH feels better and that he will be able to join the Moreno Valley clinic next month.
