yep, I stole all the pumpkins.. sadly they all fell off the truck instead of the LEGO on the way to California.. sniff sniff.

I saw this on a DIY site that I really want to make-- like those expensive sun jars but a pumpkin instead.

Looked for the flat solar lights at Target, they don't have the right kind.

Picked up some clearanced out school supplies and light weight comforters for the boys (Noah has been complaining of being cold at night).

Found a rolling laundry basket (with handle) at Wally world- SWEET! Just what I needed to haul everything on laundry days.
And they had movies for $5.. Got: Total Recall, True Spies, Series of Unfortunate Events, Tomb Raider , and A Knights Tale. All ones that we really loved.

Got another free Chick Fil A sandwhich-- MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

And strolled thru Petsmart to peek at the adoptable pets.. ahhhhhh they had a whole litter of puppies-- cute! And some BIG cats, they would beat up Poly

Now I'm working on snackage. Bought a few things after battling with a cashier over coupons at Albertson's.. grrrrrrrrr. beware the bite of the angry couponer.

Wow. Page 3??? Clearly Staley is the center of the hyena universe!

We had a nice day today. Rushed out the door early today for soccer team photos this morning, then DS3 had a game right afterward. Last week he didn't want to play at all, just whined the whole time for Daddy (who was out on the floor coaching.)

Today he did a little bit of whining, but eventually played goalie and prevented 2 goals, YAY! Of course he then let the next 3 roll right on in... Baby steps, right?

After the game we went to DH's dad's house for lunch. It was good to see them, and they've been begging to see the kids, so everyone was happy. Nice to do that before we're gone for the next two weekends.

So....today I slept in until 10am. DD & her friend wanted to go shopping to get some things for Homecoming week. So we went to Dollar Tree, Target, got DS a haircut at Supercuts, went to Wendy's for late lunch and then went to Goodwill. Amazingly I spent more money at Goodwill than anyplace else!

They call costumes:fancy dress
They call sneakers: trainers

GEESH! OK, I'm back.

Had to do a diaper change, put eczema medication on Ds3, get him ready for bed, deal with a bit of whining and shushing, finally get him down, then get some laundry going so I have pants to wear tomorrow.

So I'm wondering how Staley is doing with the roadtrip, especially with two little ones.

I have just horrible memories of days-long roadtrips from my childhood. Now as a parent, I can't imagine subject my kids to that, nor do I want to subject myself and DH to days of endless whining.

But maybe that's just me. Other people take roadtrips and survive. I don't get it...

I remember when my family went to Canada. We drove and drove for what seemed like hours. We were with my parents friends and their kids and it was a bit annoying. At least we were able to rent a huge van for all of us.
