How long have you been in California and how many earthquakes have you experienced?

I told dh you were there for less than a month and have experienced an earthquake every week, I realize I may have been exaggerating

Moved here end of July, we have earthquakes a few times a month.. but we never feel them.
I have felt two so far that took place in another city, about 20 miles away.
One was 3.6 and the other was a 3.9
First was a rumble bump kinda thing, like going over a speed bump.
The second one was a rumbling and shaking, I'm the only one that felt it at our apartment.

Both lasted for just a second or two.

Well that's good that you felt two so far, it's kinda neat that they happen so often but I only say that because I've never experienced a natural disaster.

Anyways I'm pooped so I'm off to sleep now. Have a good weekend though, I'm not sure if I'll be back for the rest of the weekend. Dh leaves for Norway on Sunday so all next week I'll be dising like mad.

I bought a bouquet of roses from Costco. I wanted to see what it would like with some vases and a pumpkin bucket I have. Here's some pics:

It adds cheer to my office desk and my co-workers actually "take the time to smell the roses!"

So sorry I wasn't here to entertain you with talk of feces, Sam. I was having a first ever Girls Night Out (GNO) with 3 ladies/friends I used to work with. All three are my best friends, and fortunately for me, they have also become best friends with each other, so we get the families together every once in awhile. We used to lunch once a month, but now that their office has moved downtown we decided to switch to a monthly GNO. We had a blast!!!

Staley said they were stopping tonight in Eureka. That pretty much fits your description of the middle of nowhere Northern California!

Yeahhhh, I did that once. Woke up on the wrong side of the road and heading for a cliff in the Oregon mountains. GEESH! I don't recommend it.
