Good news for Staley!

We're getting the weird weather, too. I guess since you're still getting it, that means more to come for us. It's sunny right now. Wish the boys were playing outside in it while they can. Instead they're up in DS7's room; no idea what they're doing, but it sounds like they're jumping hard onto the floor. I probably need to go investigate.

This morning DS woke up and said "Mom, I think it's a hot chocolate day". So I made him a big giant cup of cocoa in his Super Heroes coffee mug with lots of whipped cream, drizzled it with Hershey's chocolate syrup and put lots of colorful sprinkles on top.

Then I sent him off to school on his Sugar High for the teacher to deal with!

DD sometimes has trouble getting up in the morning, especially as you near the end of the week. So I came up with a great idea this morning, I called her cell phone to wake her up. She jumped right out of bed and answered on the 2nd ring, thinking it was someone important!! So much better than yelling in her bedroom door 15 times to get up! Of course I don't think it will work every day, but you never know. Her friends call her all morning long!!

Hmmmm....I'm thinking they have stolen plastic garbage sacks and turned them into parachutes and are jumping from the top of Mom's dresser! Or perhaps they have laid saltine crackers on the floor and are squishing them with their bare feet!!

ohhhhhhhhhhh, you have school (DS11 didn't have school today), it was already 7:20 and he wasn't dressed yet.

His first bell is at 7:00.. OOPS!

He turns off his alarm every morning at 6 am, and sleeps until hubby tells him to get up. Bad habits are hard to break.

I'm booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooored. An hour ago I was so bored I was jumping on the couch. 1/2 an hour ago I was so bored I changed into dh's work shirt and made it curly(lol that's supposed to say girly) by unbuttoning the sexy buttons, trying the bottom together and pulling it to the side and rollin up one cuff and just folding over the cuff on the other hand, I then proceeded to model on my home made catwalk in front of the mirror.

5 minutes ago I was so bored I decided to bounce on my bed and roll around. Now I'm so bored I've run out of things to do. I'm debating going to bed even though I had a nap from 5:30 to 7.

Finally some good news!

Hubby talked to social security , looks like we will continue to get SSDI checks until December for his trial work months, maybe even into January!

Plan to save half, use half towards debt. YES!!

AND
He got info from the district that, since he accepted a job at a low performing school, he qualifies for a chunk o' change for moving expenses.
Didn't know that was available. Very nice suprise. I teased him that half it will be sucked up in taxes but hey it's better than a kick in the pants right?

I sing a bit offtune, even more so with head phones on.

I'm glad. It kept me entertained for awhile too. I also make some pretty cool sounds with my mouth. Much like this...fffffffffffffffffffffffft and brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Why do people always get mad when other people sing loud and off key. I mean geesh, as if they're watching tv isn't bothering you

I bought after eights because I thought I wouldn't eat many of them being that they're a mint meant to freshen your breath after dinner. Well let me just tell you I have probably the freshest breath in the world and the worst upset stomach. Those things are goooooooood.

Did you read my encounter with waiting room butt creepage in the pants guy and lady???

That little instance happened after I told hubby to behave in the exam room. He kept getting up and playing with things in the room.

Making the table go up and down, humming like the noisy computer in the room and then saying "shut up DELL!" , and trying to figure out how to turn on the exam light.

I'm just glad there were no stirrups in sight.

Last time I went with him he opened all the drawers of the exam table and asked me all sorts of questions about stirrups.. and then preceeded to take things out of the drawers to look at and comment on each item.

yes, my husband is very odd when bored.

funny because that didn't even occur to me. I noticed I also missed wear in the term under wear. Did I tell you they called underwear pants here?? I told dh he better not say he wants to get in my pants in public, they may think he wants to wear ladies underwear.
