Hello! I doubt anyone is here but I must pop on because I know you guys will understand. I'm suffering from PMS, and I just found out some guy at work whined about dh because dh stood up to and refused to be given work on something that wasn't in his department. So I got livid that people at dh's work don't think he's a genius like they did in Canada. Dh assures me it's just a matter of time and he has to go through the new guy syndrome. Well I was so mad that I turned into a crazy person and started swearing and then laughing uncontrollably until my face turned red and then I got embarrassed and I wanted to cry. I just want to go home but I'm sure things will get better soon.

ohhhhhh how horrible for you. This adjustment hasn't been easy for either one of you. Wish we could all come and give ya a hug (and some chocolate). In a few months time he won't be the new guy and , hopefully, you will look back on this rough patch and shrug it off as one more step in life. A crappy step but a necessary one. Hang in there!!!

Hi Guys,

Lynn - just read your posts about the Lupus. Geez, sure hope you don't have that. I'll be praying for you.

But look on the bright side, you have higher percentages of living than I do! I'm 85% - 5 years, about 70% - 10 years and about 50% - 20 years. Which is why I say, just enjoy each day. Oh, and be sure and spend all your money at Disney so you don't have to leave it to your children to squander!:lmao:

Wow Spongemommie - you are really talented. I LOVE your kid's costumes.

Christina - All I can say is :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: (Oh and go get some chocolate - quick!!).

Hey FunnyG, your green lighting, are you still around??

I will be so glad when this week is over. DH has been working 6-7 days a week, at least 15 hour days! They have had some major scheduling problems at his work and this is their busy time. Anyway, they are caught up and will be going back to regular M-F, 8 hour days next week.

With both of us working, it's so nice to be able to take turns cooking dinner, etc... But I've been having to pull his load at home while he's working so much. But I guess you guy's haven't noticed that I can't Dis more than about 30 minutes and I'm too tired and have to go to bed!:lmao: Of course Spongemommie probably thinks I don't like her. It seems like everytime she gets on here, I go away. Really, I like you!!!!:) :) :)

So what, do I have bad breath and offend?? I get on here and everyone leaves!! I took a shower, really I did!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

OK, I guess since everyone has left I will have to self interview:

1. What is your favorite part of poultry?
The wing.

2. If you could be any type of vegetable what would you be?
One smothered with butter & cheese sauce!

3. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck would chuck wood?
About 1 cord.

4. What is your favorite thing to wear?
Blue jeans, pastel pretty girly sweater and pearls with strappy pink sandals.

5. What is your favorite flower?
Any flower that is still growing, not picked! I love looking at the wildflowers around our house: foxglove, buttercup, daisy, bleeding hearts, iris, OH and I love pretty Hydrangeas also!

So is anyone here yet??

i am still here

WooHoo!! Glad you're still here. Wow, you are so talented, I loved the pirate costumes.:thumbsup2 Sewing makes me want to pull my hair out. My grandfather bought me a really nice sewing machine for my 15th birthday. I still have it and I try to sew. My mom & sister both love sewing, but it frustrates me like you wouldn't believe!! I hate to admit it but the only way I passed the sewing portion of Home Ec. in high school was to go down to the Goodwill and buy some homemade clothing and hand it in as my own!:lmao: Sad, but true!

I type really fast. One time they timed me at about 120 WAM on the computer keyboard. I had a really nice typing teacher in high school. If you could meet your typing goal and pass the tests each day with no errors she would let you leave for lunch early. It was a great incentive, so I put my heart & soul into typing!:thumbsup2

So here's our team photo from the Orlando Race for the Cure. My sister isn't in the photo because she was taking the picture. I'm the one in pink. My nephew Shaw in in the back row on left side. My nephew Ralph is behind me to the right and my brother in law Damon is behind me to the left. My very dear friend Ilene is directly to my left. We worked together over 20 years ago in Seattle, she then moved to Illinois and eventually to Florida. We always managed to stay in touch and see each other every few years. She's my Golden Friend!

okay my dh just got home now i gotta go help him be back

TTYL. I have to leave shortly also. If I have time later tonight I'll talk to you then. Tonight is the season premier of CSI and I want to watch it, so I'll probably be up late.

Wow spongie!!! Those costumes are great!! okay, I think we are just about ready to go!!!!!! All i have left to pack is our shower stuff, which will have to wait til morning, seeing as how I still have to shower. As does dh, because he comes home smelling like a mechanic every day... Seeing as how he works in a machine shop. I used to think it was sexy back when we were first dating... All manly and whatnot. Now.... well now it just makes me want to gag!:lmao:

Alex helped me make sandwiches... yeah, that was fun! :sad2: But, they are done, and all i have to do is throw it all in the cooler... Mikalah was blowing chunks today... I hope it was just a one time thing. She has a sensitive stomach, and tends to blow at the littlest thing. I am pretty sure Alex knows what i am talking about!:lmao: But at least she made it to the toilet... Nothing for me to clean up!:lmao: :lmao: And thankfully I have hit the jackpot on paci's. I have found like 8 in the past 2 days. Having a full supply always makes for a more pleasant trip. :thumbsup2

My answers to Sam's self-interview questions:

1. What is your favorite part of poultry?
The breast! (Can you say that on the DIS???)

2. If you could be any type of vegetable what would you be?
Oh, lord. You've been watching too much Barbara Walters! But I'll say corn on the cob, YUMMY!

3. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck would chuck wood?
I don't think a wood chuck could chuck would, but if it could, would it? :confused3

4. What is your favorite thing to wear?
Black knit pants (I know, not pretty on a behind like mine!) and a pretty, comfy top. And sandals or clogs. I'm just now getting back into dangly earrings now that DS3 isn't pulling on them anymore. ;)

5. What is your favorite flower?
Gosh, that's a toughie! I'm not really a rose kind of person; that's a little too traditional for me, and the smell usually gives me a headache. But I do love garden-type flowers. Snapdragons remind me of my childhood neighbors. My grandfather used to grow prize-winning gladiolas. I love the look of pansies, all those vivid colors on one little flower! And I love the smell of freesia, and of plumeria.
