Looked up the laws in California regarding seizures and driving-- CRAP!

ok, I said the naughty word this time

They have different levels of probation/suspension. Doctors are required to report people who have seizures to DMV. Looking at minimum 3 months no driving (if seizure free).

hmmm, like we really needed more troubles?

No Disneyland until further notice.:sad1:

Hubby tried to figure out mileage between work and home.. thinking he will ride a bike instead of drive.. I laughed. He hasn't been on a bike in years!

:sad2: Oh bernice... Maybe you should think about learning to drive... I know its  But this is Disney!!! But seriously... how will dh get to work?

So is there a phone number you can call and get info from the emergency room staff? And what about the cat scan? Did that tell them anything? I tell you what, I would be freaked out and wanting some answers, at least to the basic questions you brought up: What if he has another seizure? Should he immediately go to the hospital, do not pass GO, do not collect $200? GEESH!

But I am glad he's home. That must be a huge relief (and release) for you.

We're having leftovers tonight. We got leftover beef roast and leftover chicken pot pie. Woulda had leftover meatloaf, too, if DS7 hadn't CHOWED DOWN after soccer practice the other night, SHEESH! Two pounds of hamburger was inhaled that night; DS3 hardly ate any ( ), but I'd say DS7 ate the most. Growing boy, I guess... :confused3

I'll agree with that, YUM!!!
Sorry about the head, though, that stinks. This bug is a bad one!

Im sayin!! Im worried that dh will get it. He is such a baby when he gets sick! As long as he gets through this weekend ok, I will be happy. If he has to work 12's AND is sick...:sad2: Ugh. He is going to be a giant crab!!

Thanks to Spongebobmommie... My baby is HAPPILY watching Micky Mouse Club House... On DEMAND!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: Best thing that could have happened to us!:lmao: :lmao:

DH doesn't get crabby when he's sick, nor does he become a big baby. He just refuses to acknowledge that he feels like crap, and tries to carry on as usual. Since his usual pace is pretty fast, it doesn't work, and he'll wind up seriously ill or at best he's flat on his back with exhaustion. He never learns. :sad2:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: OMG!!! Mickey just asked "Do little old ladies have big hairy arms?" And Alex said... Sometimes!:lmao: :lmao: (Pete was dressed like a little old lady!)

Nuh-uhhhh!

Get a learner's permit and have hubby start teaching you to drive! You MUST keep your priorities straight, woman! :rotfl:

I know!!!! I will be so deprived. :scared1:

Yeah, hubby and I already have hashed out that I'm going to learn to drive now. Except I asked him, "umm dear.. who's going to take me out driving if you can't drive? " :rolleyes1

"You'll be the one driving, Ill just stomp on the brake before you hit a car" and :sad2: :sad2:

I know GEESH!!!
Figured if he has a diagnosis of seizure disorder and has medication.. then he doesn't need to go to emergency (unless the seizure does not stop).

From this point it's all follow up with docs.

:sad2: Oy... I wish dh would find something in between. He got strep once, and I didnt see him for 3 days. He literally slept for 3 whole days.:sad2: At least i didnt have to hear him gripe!:lmao: Even a slight head cold, and he is griping!

I used to 'cook' like that all the time. :lmao:

Can't do it anymore, at least not for DH; sometimes we'll do pizza or McDs for the boys though.

This week I was feeling quite Susie Homemaker-ish with the roasted chicken, beef roast, meatloaf, chicken pot pie (using Bisquick and the leftover chicken, nothing too fancy.) Good food, and DH was just loving it! Truth to tell, so was I, but it is kind of a pain. These things aren't very difficult (at least with my limited know-how), but like if it has to cook for 3 hours, you can't go anywhere, you've gotta be home!

I should have done the roast in the crock pot. I wonder if it would have fit... I'd feel better about leaving a crock pot going than the oven, ya know?
