How timely! DS3 and I were discussing gender today. I don't remember how the conversation started, but I started by explaining that Mama is a girl. (Remember I told you how this was a big problem for DS7 until a couple years ago? He
claimed he knew I was a girl, but kept asking me where my wizard was. Drove me nuts! He finally got it around age 5. FIVE!

)
Anyway, so I asked, "So is Mama a boy or a girl?" and held my breath. (We were driving to Starbucks, and DH was with us.) He paused and I thought, "
Ohhhhh, noooooo!", but he finally said, "Mama is ge-e-e-el." Yay!
And Daddy is a...? "Daddia is bo-eee." That's right.
And [DS7]? "[DS7] is bo-eee." So far, so good!
And [DS3]? I kinda held my breath on this one, too, with the whole 'I want to be a princess' thing, but he very rightly said, "I a bo-eee."
We went through grandparents and aunts and uncles and cousins and neighbors and teachers and his little friend and friend's baby sister, and he got everybody right. Thank goodness! Hopefully I won't catch him sneaking around behind me while I'm doin' my bizness in the bathroom, asking where my wizard is!
