DBF's daughter lived with us full time from age 5-8 then after that it was week to week between her mom's house and our's. Now it is full time with her mom. Not by our choice though. We wanted her full time but things got ugly...long drawn out custody battle the whole 2 years it was week to week. Not fair to DBF's daughter so we let her mom have full custody.

That's sad. My brother is going thru a similar situation.
Week to week now, she wants full custody. I think she wants the kids to get more money. Money my bro does not even have, he is in bankruptcy and is losing his house.

It all sucks.

She's 11 now but we haven't seen her is over a year. It makes DBF sad around the holidays but he knows it was best for DD. Plus it's eaiser on us with no kids, I don't plan on having any any time soon.

Ya, DBF's ex is all about the $$$. 4 kids from 4 different dads. On welfare, she's never worked...and because of her DBF's credit is shot. He's been out on disability from a car accident for almost 2 years and they were taking half of his disabilty check for child support. Now the disabilty has run out and he gets nothing yet they continue to charge him child support. It's not fair.

Thant's not funny! My bff wants me to have a baby sooo bad! Her's just turned 1 in March. Everytime I don't feel well she gets all excited "Maybe you're pregnant!"

My head is POUNDING!!! Ugh... I made some rice crispy treats... yum! Next step is more cookies! Dh has a 12 tomorrow, so I have to pack him a bag full of yummy treats! So far... left over chili from yesterday, a few pb&j's, treats... cookies. Juice. I guess that about all he needs, eh?

I think he was still altered when they did discharge instructions. They didn't send him home with much either-- hmmmm. Just a basic: don't drive or operate heavy machinery, see family physician and a scrip for Dilantin.

No pamphlets on seizure disorders, no "what to expect" and "what to do if you have another seizure"
Not even a pamphlet about the drug.

I'm a bit peeved.

Good thing I have a background in nursing (rusty as it may be), can you imgine sending a typical joe shmo home like that??
