Wait a second. Did I miss something HUGE?? I thought we were just talking about weddings. Is our Pixster officially engaged????? somebody answer!!!

No, not yet! We just talked about it, which in a way is huge for us. We're not in a rush to get married. We practically are: we've been together for 11 years, live together, etc.

Howdy Happening Hyenas! Just wanted to say a quick hello. I'm headed out to get some lunch and see if I can get in for a hair cut.

No sports here, hubby doesn't understand the fascination with them.

Today he was upset at DL..



He watched as a mom left with 3 kids under 5 off the train. Baby strapped to mom, struggling with pushing a stroller and another one trailing behind, mom looked pissed.

Oldest kid asked "why is daddy staying on the train?"

Turned out "daddy" was going back to the hotel to watch a Raider's game.

My Hubby was kinda snarly. "why bother going on a vacation if you're not together, and you don't help your wife with the kids??"

Good point.

Hmmm....that sounds ominously familiar! DH & I take the kids to DL in June. I dump the kids on him for most of the week while I hang with the Hyenas!

We have the same Shrek in our yard too! It's ginormous!



Ok I had a huge extravagent wedding! Can I still be in the group??? I loved our wedding and people 10 years later still talk about it being the best night of their lives. Well, maybe not my inlaws.

We stayed til the VERY end. I hate it when the bride and groom leaves early. WTH? you paid for that wedding get out and enjoy the party and the guests that paid hundreds of dollars to come and see you!

We partied til 1 in the morning then we went back to the most beautiful hotel suite on the planet with over 300 votive candles lit around the room. Dh took some candid pictures of me in my dress and we sat on the couch and talked about the night. Then we decided we were not done partying and very hungry so we headed over to my brothers suite where the party was continuing. When we showed up still all decked out in our wedding clothes my aunt and uncle said what the hell are you doing here and why didnt you take off your dress? I was like ARE YOU KIDDING ME? this dress was soo expensive, I get to wear it once and I feel like the most beautiful princess in the world in it. I never wanted to take it off. heck I wanted to wear it on our honeymoon!!!


Ok off to paint last coat on doors for cabinets.

Then install the floor!!!! Or at least some of it! wish me luck

Wow, huge wedding and then leap right into the home repairs. I guess the Honeymoon is over!!

That's awesome Christina! Nice job! BTW, the siggie is more than 50Kbs and the mods might send you a warning. They went after me twice before and recently gave one to Melody.

Thanks. In case you don't see it, it's the beast holding a beast mask, and baby belle is also holding a pretty princess mask. On the other side is baby snow white in sleeping beauty's costume and sleeping beauty in snow whites costume and cinderella is a princess zombie! Yay for halloween.

It's currently 63 degrees here and very cloudy. I woke up with a store throat and headache and have been in bed all morning. I drank some chicken soup for lunch.

OK, I'll give them pottying on their own. However not one of them is capable of using a plunger or replacing the toilet paper.

Yes they can eat on their own, but I've seen the kinds of things they eat and I'm pretty sure they are doing more harm than good by eating their kinds of food!

They also seem to have a real problem with maintaining their own safety. Let's not forget they are being led by their father who once decided it would be safe & fun to ride his bicycle off the roof of his house, because he had a garbage sack tied to his back as a parachute!

You've been shopping way too much Pix. So what is a Store Throat? Is that where you get a sore throat from hollering "That's my purse, I seen it first" at the Nordstrom's Half Yearly Sale! Or is it just an excuse you use when you want to take the day off work to go shopping?

yep it is super news and she called me this afternoon and told me she contacted the other 2 employers that offered her the job to tell them she couldnt take it and one of them basically begged her to come work for them and they would allow her to work from home some and would do whatever she needed to be accomodated with...she used to work as a recruiter doing interviews so that is what she would be doing for this one..so now my friend has 2 jobs and if you leave pretty soon you may miss the 5pm traffic and get here for dinner by dinnertime

I'm making chicken noodle soup right now-- perfect for the cool day we have. Suppose to be cooler for a few days and then back to mid 80's rest of the week.

Well Andrea is going to be one busy lady!! but i am so happy for her!! Is she going to DL with you?

And how are you feeling? And your wrists? Any news about your tests?
