When I rode Indiana Jones with Bernice I flew up off the seat a bit and got freaked out too! I forgot which part it was but it startled me!

When we went on our first trip, dh rode Indy by himself... He got put in a car with a group of Japanese tourists. As you all know, dh is a big guy! He is around 6'2", and weighs about 250. He was thrown so much, he was afraid he was going to wipe out the whole car! He was so uncomfortable at the the thought of smushing a bunch of poor unsuspecting tourists, that he hasnt ridden since!

Sad, but it's something I would expect my BIL to do.

He's always complaining "you're dumping the KID on me??!" ... ah yes... your the dad, you can watch him too.

My sis is a SAHM, my BIL works evenings.

She rarely gets a "no kids " day, I worry about her stressing out. Very demanding job to be a mom to a teen, 1st grader with autism and a 1 yr old preemie-- lots of therapy visits, doctor appts, IEP meetings for all 3 kids, helping with homework, housework to be done, laundry, cooking, helping at school, grocery shopping, shopping at health food stores for her DS diet.....

And he does.. nothing but sit on the couch until he goes to work at 3 pm.

What a jerk!! Alex's dad would pull that crap. Hey, can you watch Alex for an HOUR after daycare closes til I can get there to pick him up? NO!! He would rather go out drinking... Whatever. Hes gone now, and I dont have to worry about his low life butt anymore. to your sis!

It's funny, hubby didn't realize until recently that she says "chicken" , he thought she said "don't be cheeky"

Hubby: "I thought it was an odd thing to say, "don't be cheeky" while your husband is dying?? "

Hi Alex and Albort! Alex, welcome back to the 2nd happiest place on earth. I had a busy day today. Here was my project.

We have the same Shrek in our yard too! It's ginormous!

I think it's funny that three of us had "no- frills" weddings.

We were meant to meet and become the hyena friends that we are.. kindred souls???

Ok I had a huge extravagent wedding! Can I still be in the group??? I loved our wedding and people 10 years later still talk about it being the best night of their lives. Well, maybe not my inlaws.

We stayed til the VERY end. I hate it when the bride and groom leaves early. WTH? you paid for that wedding get out and enjoy the party and the guests that paid hundreds of dollars to come and see you!

We partied til 1 in the morning then we went back to the most beautiful hotel suite on the planet with over 300 votive candles lit around the room. Dh took some candid pictures of me in my dress and we sat on the couch and talked about the night. Then we decided we were not done partying and very hungry so we headed over to my brothers suite where the party was continuing. When we showed up still all decked out in our wedding clothes my aunt and uncle said what the hell are you doing here and why didnt you take off your dress? I was like ARE YOU KIDDING ME? this dress was soo expensive, I get to wear it once and I feel like the most beautiful princess in the world in it. I never wanted to take it off. heck I wanted to wear it on our honeymoon!!!


Ok off to paint last coat on doors for cabinets.

Then install the floor!!!! Or at least some of it! wish me luck

Alot happened last night!!

First of all....................................
Congradulations Rochelle!!!!!!!! I know this is a little early, but oh well.

I've been married for 30 years!! And I had a big wedding. Can I still be an Hyena?? And yes, big weddings cost a bundle. I just gave one!!!!!! And my DD had a alot to say in everything. We gave her a budget, and said stick to it. She did very well, and never complained. What's funny is that Daddy was the one, who was always checking on how we were doing on the expenses. So she finds a beautiful veil, that was out of our budget. Well, we come home and tell him about it, and how she is just going to have to find something kind of like it, but way cheaper. So my DH, without either of us knowing it, goes to the bridal store on his own, and asks the owners which veil his DD liked. Later that day, on her bed is a box with ribbon on it. On his note he wrote, " a little something to make your day more special." She opened it, and there was her veil. We both started crying. My DH is the best!!!!!!!!!!

Bernice, Your BIL sounds like a real crumb bum!!!! And I hope your MIL can stay longer with you for a visit!!!

Lynn, That is super news for Andrea!!! Does she still get to go to DL wtih you??? And can I come for dinner, and have some French Onion soup??? Yummy!! I love French Onion soup!!!!
