It's too bad the change makes it into a hectic rush (concert then 2 AM drive to DL) for you. Hopefully Morgan can sleep on the way and give a great performance despite that. Oh, and have fun at DL, too!!! :thumbsup2

Sounds like dizzy is still hoping to be able to go in Oct. as well. I'm hoping that everyone who is still a 'maybe' can make it! :)

I better get some housework done before I need to leave to get DS7. It's a bit of a mess...

Catch you guys later!

what a bummer Shawna.. hmm I need a date book to keep up with all the hyenas planned dates.
You all have my phone number.. so if you're in town on a Sunday just call me! I will more than liklely be at DL:goodvibes

It's funny, my hubby is an ex-smoker, he always needs something when he is stressed. Our Sunday trips have become his "happy place" as he called it, great de-stressor and somehting to look forward to when his students give him grief.

I laughed and gave him the line "well, it is called the Happiest Place on Earth"

:rotfl2: My mom chose her trip to WDW to see Dh and I to quit smoking 8 years ago. There was no place where she could conveniently smoke and after a 4 hour plane ride without it she said well, if I'm gonna do it anywhere this would be the best place. She hasnt touched a cig since!:yay:

Oh I know what you guys mean. I'm gonna be pissed if they all become Lindsay, Paris Britney Nicole etc:sad2:

If Miley Cyrus is confronted about the pics is she going to say: "Everybody makes mistakes, everybody has those days! Nobody's perfect! I gotta work it! Again and again till I get it right!" :rolleyes1

Disneyland has always been my stress reliever! It's times where I feel I'm just too overwhelmed with work issues. One day at DL does wonders and I'm so happy and relaxed! I don't even need to go on rides. I just walk around and take photos and eat my dole whip float :)

I'll talk to ya guys later. I'm really swamped today....holding the fort so to speak since the boss is MIA! Talk to you guys later! pixiedust:

Hey guys it's official. they changed it to Nov 10. Plus side is I get to see Christina (I think)

We are trying to figure out if we can go in October too. Dh has worked so hard and I would love to give him a vacation.

See October we had 4 days scheduled in the parks. November we have 2 if that. Hannah concert is Nov 9 so we are going to that then driving at 2am to get to DL at 8am. i'm afraid Morgan will be exhausted but we are NOT skipping the concert and at least she can sleep in the car. IF we go over in October too we will get AP's again since it's $10 away from the price of both trips. However we dont really want them because it will be too easy to go back and blow more money that we need for our Nov 08 trip to WDW.

On top of all this we are getting our floors finally done 1st week of October. I'm frantically painting the kitchen cabinets just like I did the bathroom ones in the spring so we can put the new floors in.

Whooo I guess that is my update!

oh is it Andrea's birthday today???? How ironic if it is because I called her and left her a message out of the blue today but I have no clue!

If so

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREA!

AZ!!! I had to laugh when I got your message today!!! I haven't talked to you in forever and I could tell that you didn't know and it was so cute!!! I was like, what a coincidence that she just happened to call me today and has no idea!!! :rotfl: Thanks for the call though, I will be returning it, just not till after 9pm for lack of minutes!!! :rotfl2:

Bummer that they changed the dates on you, and Veterans day is so so so busy there now, it has closed to capacity the last two years!! Hopefully it won't be too bad. I thought Christina was there later in the month, closer to Thanksgiving but I could be wrong. I just remember originally having a trip planned with a friend for the Mon-Tue before Thanksgiving and I would have been there with her!!!

Talk to you later, thanks for the birthday wishes!! :goodvibes

Andrea

EMPD, sorry your day was busy, but thanks for the cute pictures this morning!!!

FunnyG, thanks again! I hope we can meet up in October atleast one day, even if I have to come and get you!! I can pick you up on the way in Wednesday AM and we'll figure something out!!

Moto, thanks for the Tink cake, it was very cute.

Well I just hung out today, a friend invited us over for a playdate for the kids and lunch at her house so I went. DH did call this morning around 9am, to which I was shocked!!! How bad is that? Sometimes I just have to laugh. I am shocked that my own husband called me for my birthday, that's so funny!!!

Anywho, we are going over to my Aunt's for a bit so I'll see you all later!

Preschool pick-up today went almost well. Sooooo close, only not! :(

When I drove up in front of the building the kids were already sitting on the benches outside, so I waited my turn in line. The teacher will walk the child up to your vehicle and help him/her in and get them buckled. Or if the parent gets out, walk the child to the parent.

When I stepped out there were only 2 children left, and DS3 wasn't paying attention. I told the teacher I was there for DS3, so she called his name, and he looked up. He got this biiiiig grin on his face as she took his hand and started to walk over to me. He screamed, "Mama!" and pulled his hand out of hers and ran toward me. She tried to catch him, and managed to grab him just as I was holding out a hand to hold him back.

She knelt down and put her hands on his shoulders, telling him that he had to walk with her and hold her hand, that it wasn't safe to run away like that, and that he'd scared her. He was looking down at his shoes, and she asked him to look at her, so he did just briefly, then started to cry. He felt soooo bad. :sad1:

She then let me pick him up, and I tried to cheer him up and also reinforce what the teacher had said, but by then he was howling, and I'm sure didn't hear a word. The teacher said he'd had a really good day, no crying at all (until just then, of course), and that he'd done an art project gluing body parts onto a body shape, and worked with some wooden pegs, and I think done some painting, too. And he really enjoyed the reading time. It's so good to hear that he's doing well, at least in class. I naturally picture him spending the morning with that last look I saw on his face...

So I told him I got the Disney book for him, and he was so excited to try it out! It had a plastic pull-tab to remove, but you had to remove the battery flap to take it out; then inside it says to replace the little temporary battery with 4 AAAs. OK...

Finally get the darn thing all put together, and it DOESN'T WORK.
So we'll go back to Costco tonight or tomorrow to exchange. :sad2:

Oh, poor little guy!! Right at the very end too, you are right, it was SOOO close!! Then with the book too, darn it all. Hope you guys have a great night from here on out!!

Hi everybody!

What did I miss!?!?!? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I left in July for Florida/WDW/cruise. Came back to Vegas in time for school to start in August, and headed to DL on Labor Day. Can't believe how much I missed the Homeland.

How was your summer?

Cyrus is a mere fourteen years old is pictured in photos in a bikini and less online. It appears as if the photos are just playful candid shots that were taken with friends but they may still be too racy for many parents that turn to Disney to keep their kids entertained with family programming.

The teen star did voice her support for Vanessa Anne Hudgens. So did her dad recording artist and Dancing With the Stars contestant Billy Ray Cyrus.
