Best option to get from RPR to Epic in the morning? I’m thinking we will Uber.

Honestly, we used the bus from RP and were really impressed with how often they ran and how convenient it was. I never normally use the buses for anything but would use them again for Epic.

You`re right by the main park entrance although we did Uber home as we were over the other side of the park by Helios but the buses get excellent reviews.

I read that they only run every 30 minutes. Is that not the case? Also, does the bus run directly to Epic or stop at Citywalk first? I read it stops at Citywalk. I think there is a lot of misinformation floating around right now.

Does Uber drop off at the park entrance? Sorry for all the questions. I feel like a newbie.

As our bus pulled away there was another behind it, they do run very regularly, I would say more often than every 30 minutes.

The buses go direct to Epic, the bus from RP is shared with Sapphire and picks up at Sapphire first so you go on straight to Epic, it definitely doesn`t go to Citywalk first.

I didn`t notice where Uber drop off, but several folks have said they`ve used Uber so should hopefully chime in.

Honestly, I am averse to using buses but I was genuinely impressed with them and their frequency.

And ask away, there`s a lot to take in :flower3:

Thank you so much for fielding my questions. There are probably many more to come!

We are contemplating a VIP tour at Epic that starts at 10am and I just don’t know if the bus or Uber would be better. We get in very late the evening prior so we will probably sleep in on our Epic day. Would 9am be the right time to leave RPR to get to our tour on time? I think I read there is a separate line to enter Celestial Park for people with tours booked but I want to have plenty of time for the ride over plus the ticket line and security.

The bus only takes about 15-20 minutes max to get to Epic from RP, however we are folks that like to get where we’re going early, I’d probably be at the bus stand for 8.45, just in case.

Yes, I believe there is a separate line for tours, you should be fine leaving by 9, but I’m a time worrier!!

If you're not trying to get there before opening id recommend just taking the bus. Just line up around 9 and you'll be fine.

Yeah, I don’t think we can make to opening that day. We probably won’t check into our room until 11pm the night before.

I am absolutely a time worrier as well! When money is on the line the worry intensifies. Lol. The tour is so expensive for our dates, I need to make sure we are there in plenty of time. 8:45 or maybe even 8:30 so I don’t have anxiety the whole way there.

Just got back from 2 days this week, Monday and Wednesday. Short of it, we were able to do every ride, most more than once, No Express. I’ll post a detailed trip report in the next week. A couple of quick thoughts…

Do two days if possible and plan a down day in between.

Go all day. Our first day was 7:15 am - 10 pm, second day was 8 am - 10 pm.

If you haven’t committed to a hotel for your visit and can’t swing for Helios, ABSOLUTELY do Stella Nova!!!

More to come in the trip reports!!

Excited to hear how it went. We're doing Stella Nova in a few months, but since we'd likely only walk to Epic one morning (from experience I know we tend to tired-people bus back at night lol), might switch to Terra Luna if the price is enough lower to make it worthwhile.

Good to hear! Look forward to the TR. We have 1 resort day/night at Helios with Epic the next day, then the next week 1 night at Stella after IOA and US with Epic plus express next day. Really hoping to get as much done as possible. I’m coming from UK and meeting my son and his fiancée in Orlando, they live in Australia

Anyone know if 1 day tickets show sold out, do they ever become available later?
There are random days where single day tickets are sold out - you can go to the universal site and select 1 day ticket for epic and see what days are sold out.

The multi day tickets seem to have full availability.

Even if the single day sells out - you can sometimes buy them at the hotel day off from what I have heard

definitely just keep checking...they fluctuate. Most of June was sold out leading into my trip, but days would regularly pop-up as available for purchase. My buddy also added his ticket the day of when we were there at Helios. They said to make sure to get in line early in the morning for the ticket and planning desk as they usually have a limited number available the day of.

I’ve got a couple of ticketing questions. Appreciate any help with these!

1) I have an an AP and bought a specific dated Epic pass for October. My wife has a 3 day pass that includes a day of Epic. It states days do sell out. How do we ensure she will be able to get in with her pass on the same day as mine? We’ll be there for early entry so if the sell out comment is more of a ‘day of’ thing then maybe this isn’t a concern.

2) I really want a public VIP of Epic but they’re sold out. At min we’ll get Express. VIP are sold out but I check and see dates pop up from time to time. I’ll keep doing this but would like to hedge and buy express passes in case they sell out or increase in price. Would I be able to get a refund on the express if I’m able to secure a VIP?

Thanks again.

I did see a video from Orlando Informer where it said if you bought an express and did not use it they would refund 90%.

I am pretty sure Universal policy is no refunds - but they have been a bit more flexible with Epic as far as tickets - not so sure about Express passes. Keep in mind the Epic express tickets are only once per ride and don't include the two big rides..

And yes prices to go up - I doubt they ever go down.

Below is a video for the express pass and one for the VIP tour - they were both sponsored by Orlando Informer I think.
Since the AP does not have Epic Universe we don't see many "independent" influencers doing Epic now that it has been open a while

Is there any consensus on using Early Entry to queue up for BatM? This is my tentative plan for next month, but when I've done this at other complicated attractions (ROTR), the ride was down and it turned into a waste of time. If this has worked for anyone in recent days, can you recall how long your wait was from the moment you reached the queue?

Wondering as well, I have heard it go both ways, it sounds like a gamble either way. It is stressful to worry about the gamble not paying off when you only get the one day to try Epic!

Everything I've read were to not waste your early entry on waiting for BaTM but to do it towards the end of the day.

I don’t have early entry and I plan to do MoM first. I’m generally pretty good at being toward the front of a crowd if I know when to be there and where to stand but since this is my first time at Epic I have no idea what I’m doing. How early do they normally let everyone into the park? Do they let everyone in at the same time but only early entry people can go in to the portals? Where is the best spot to be to be at the front of the line for MoM?

Sorry if this has already been discussed. I’m on my break at work and I don’t have time to read through everything. TIA
