People were camped out waiting on parade at 9am for a 3pm parade. I have no idea how you sit on the ground for 6 hours. That would be a form of torture for me.
We saw the same! I don't know how either, I know many of them have mats and whatnot but still. At least they weren't in the queues adding to more people so I happily moved around them but count me out on it.

The shows aren't having a good day..

First the dragon show and now I'm in line at the Harry Potter tent and just announced that's in a delay

Anyone have any idea if/when the Meetups will get a chance to include EU? I assume it won't be soon and I went with an annual pass this year so I'm likely out for December but going forward would love to know.
Yeah - I hope so - they seem to have a good relationship with Universal (why I don't fully trust their reviews TBH) - Id assume once things settle down they might do something with Epic - although what will the cost be - its already pretty pricey and if I have an AP its just not worth it IMO.

I did it once and I thought it was just OK - but for the cost when you already have an AP - not so much.

Want to say, it seems clear all the budget for any lighting at night went to Celestial Park. It is absolutely gorgeous. I love the light/water show they do at closing. I was a little dissapointed with all the worlds at night, just not a lot of lighting. It's expected at Dark Universe, so it fits the theme well there. But I expected way more out of HP and Berk. Nintendo was bright and colorful as expected, but not like over the top special

Not that it matters too much now, previews VS opening seem like a totally different beast (especially this opening weekend).

But here was our experience from last Monday, final preview on May 19.

We stayed at Stella Nova the night before, and were very glad to utilize Early Entry! The walk over was about a 15 minute stroll, and we were in line by 7:30 to go through security.

Before I begin, let me just say: It was hot. Holy moly was it hot! We drank water and tried to find shade and duck into shops when we needed. For us, we felt the hottest in Berk. We only just watched the first movie the weekend prior to leaving, so we just wanted to see the land and maybe ride Hiccups Wing Gliders. The walk from Dark Universe to Berk around noon was HOT, and the queue was outside, so we were feeling it most at that time.

We started the day at 8:00 a.m. in SNW, and thankfully all attractions were up and running near park opening. We had to wait about 15 minutes for Mine Cart Madness to get going, but the line was inside, so we didn't mind. We were then able to go and ride Mario Cart, followed by Yoshi, and then back to Mario Cart Single Rider. We rode 4 attractions in just under 3 hours, looked around SNW a bit more, and then headed out of that world for the day.

We then headed into Dark Universe, which is awesome! We had lunch at Das Steakhouse and enjoyed some ice water and A/C before exploring the land a bit and riding Monsters Unchained twice as a walk on. SUCH a cool attraction!!!

We spent about 1 1/2 hours in the world before heading over to Berk. We bypassed Ministry of Magic because the posted wait was 300 minutes, and were weren't willing to sacrifice the whole day to *maybe* ride it.

As I said, we were quite toasty while waiting for Hiccup's Wing Gliders, but it was worth it and I adored this ride! I imagine if you love this IP, this land really does it for you. It is beautiful, but we barely explored since we were so hot and wanted to at least do something in the Wizarding World. We probably were in Berk for about 40 minutes.

The wait for Stardust Racers was fairly low (15 min), so we hopped in line and rode. I can say it is an awesome coaster, but I'm not sure if I'll ride it again; a little too intense for me! Wowza. We were feeling the heat, so we headed into "Paris."

We caught Les Cirque Arcanus; we waited in the indoor A/C queue longer than we normally would wait for a show, but it was great to be out of the sun and get our body temps back to a normal place. The show was pretty good, the puppets are awesome. DH fell asleep in the A/C, lol. Not a must do, but we were glad we got to do something in the world. We went walked around a bit, and then went to Le Goblet Noir for a snack- we shared a sandwich, which was delicious, and each got a frozen butterbeer. The plan when we sat down for our snack and A/C was to head to Battle at the Ministry and just wait it out (it was posted 150 minutes), but by the time we had eaten and made or our way over it was delayed. It never came back up.

By this time it was around 4:00, and were exhausted from the heat. We rode the Carousel, perused the shops in Celestial Park, and were to our car at Stella Nova to head to Disney around 5:00.

We were highly satisfied with out time in the park!!! We rode nearly all the attractions that we had prioritized (minus BatM) and thoroughly enjoyed our day. Super glad it didn't rain, but the heat was brutal. We were spent by 5:00, and I know everyone says the park is gorgeous after dark, but it was closing at 8:00 that night anyway, so it didn't matter that we left early.

I keep getting surveys from Universal asking about what we did on a specific date, and they keep picking useless days. They asked about my checkin day this time - non park day. I'd have loved to answer about our actual park day, you know, the day we had tickets for... shouldn't be too hard for them to figure out that would have been our park day.

Last time, they asked about the one day we went in solely for HHN. Rode 0 rides and went to a Stay & Scream pen. Very exciting survey answers, those were.
