Universal tickets help please!!!!!!!!

We are going to Florida next year me my husband and boys age 8&5 we want to go to Universal but only for 1 day. Only my husband wants to do 2 parks me and the boys want 1 park. The cheapest i can find is 375 dollars about £241. Is this a good price? Do they do a cheaper late in the day entry as my husband only wants to do a few of the bigger rides like the Hulk? Thanks in advance.

1 day tickets are really poor value.

Just looked on their website.

1 day 1 park $370.70 (£235)

1 day 2 parks $519.82 (£330)

UK 2013 14 day ticket (Travelrepublic) £410

Not seen any offers for late entry, usually its the waterparks for Florida residents but if not until next year keep watching for offers.

Trust me, you should go for longer. There are two parks. You could easily kill 3-4 days at Universal (we do 10!)

I would also say go longer than a day - at the very least a day per park - we got our tickets from http://www.themeparkdirect.co.uk/Store/ThemePark/tabid/66/CategoryID/19/Default.aspx

which would be £354 for your family for 14 day ticket - this is 2012 prices though but it is worth checking them again when you are ready to buy to compare with other places

We usually do more days but we are only in Florida for 9nights then we are off on a Disney cruise, so only managing to fit 1 day in with everything we want to do.

If I was you I would save Universal for a future trip. I wouldn't pay that kind of money for 1 day, you don't get the deals on 1 day tix.

I wanted to do universal when we go in oct but have decided it isn't worth paying that much, For just one day you need a few really and it's the same price plus my middle child won't be able to do everything in universal not even all Harry potter that my daughter only wants to go and see
