Universal Studios Message Board "Chat"

A little off the subject, but how do you get someone else's quotes in your own posts? Like when it says "originally posted by:" And then their quote is in bold. I can't figure this out.

Julie

Yes, I carry it around ALL day (because I see almost every Ghostbusters Show). Well, with rides it usually isn't too much of a problem. At MIB I can just hang it on the hook in the car I ride in, or, get a free locker. For most rides I can just carry it on with me and set it between my feet.

At first I got tired of carrying it everywhere, but my mom and dad would NEVER carry it for me since I decided to bring it. Now, I can carry it no problem. It's light weight (OK...it's not really because there is a side pocket in which I keep my photo album of US/IOA and Ghostbuster pictures...I like to look through them when passing the time waiting for the show to start.

If there are certain rides you are curious about, let me know. :) But you have to remember that it's nothing compared to what I sometimes do...the first day I brought my cousin, I put stuff in a backpack...a camcorder, SLR camera, etc...the bag weighed like 40 pounds (which is actually about the same as my school books, so I was a bit used to it). My shoulders ended up aching. Made me appreciate the seat cushion even more... :p Now I just carry the cushion and a camera bag.

TigerLily's Mom: look to the bottom right corner of the person's post. You will see "edit" and "quote" Click on quote. :) It automatically sets it up for you.

You can also do it manually by copying the quoted text and click on Quote in the list of buttons above where you type in your reply...but the other way is easier. :)

Well, that is easy! I feel kind of dumb for not noticing it before, LOL

Flyfly, are you still planning on going Vetran's day weekend? I am counting the days!

LOL don't feel bad! :)

Yes, I am definately planning on Veteran's Day...afterall, that's my birthday...and what better way to celebrate than watching the Ghostbusters Show all day?! (Hey Dark Marauder...if your connections work out...think you can get the guys to say "hi" to me or something on November 11 for my birthday?? LOL!!! just kidding...sounds too 'childish' I need to seem 'more mature' lol :p)

I'm trying to go for about 4 days (I'm thinking Friday through Monday), but may not be able to...will go at least 1 or 2 days I am sure!! I can't wait! :)

Me either, we are going Friday and leaving Monday - no kids this time. We are planning on partying like we used to in college, but will probably be tired and in bed by 10:00! LOL

These boards are so addictive, I love them! But I got slammed today on the transportation board. Don't EVER mention anything about pre boarding over on that board, you will be lucky to make it out alive!

We didn't catch the Ghostbusters when we were there a couple weeks ago, but I will try to in Nov. I'll look for the yellow cushion!

It's NEON yellow :p

Shouldn't be too hard to locate. I'll be in the front row of at least the first show and more than likely the others too (all depends if my parents make me do other things as well...*sigh* it's not fair  )

And I know what you mean about getting to bed early...I like to stay up late and everything but when at Universal rarely do I stay up after 11PM.

You think of everything!!!!!

You are right, people should post more often so we can keep this board alive and strong!!!!

A Genius that loves Ghostbusters!!!! and has pics to prove it, that could be used against you in a court of law!!! LOL... just kidding.

lol

is that going to be my new nickname now? :p

I demand a female judge then...she'll make my punishment much less harsh...she'd understand if she saw the pictures herself ;)

She is a tough cookie, but I think you could handle her!!!!:D

Ahh...I think the pictures would even break HER. LOL :)

As long as they don't convict me as a stalker like some people on this board do!!! :p

Don't they give out homework at high school anymore? I had it rough when I was your age. I had to walk up the hill both ways in the snow barefoot. I had to write my homework on my arms and peel off my skin to turn it in. We read out of books that we held together by duct tape. We had to sit in chairs made of Jello. In spite of all this, I survived! :)

lol Barry...I've heard that before...

Tonight I had it "easy." :) Not usually though...but sometimes I procrastinate a little...

:p

or forget about it altogether...

But anyway...discussing homework on a Universal Studios thread is like discussing...politics on ANY thread...not welcome! ;)

(Nah, actually politics interest me but I get in huge fights with people online about it so I was try to stay away from those kind of posts).

But what's new with my fellow Universal Studios fans?

Actually, I'm sure something could be arranged. No guarantees at this time...

No guarantees at this time...

really? I would have thought something like this wouldn't work...it would be really nice of you to try though :)

And don't worry about guarantees, I completely understand if it doesn't work out. :)

God, I love this board! :p
