Universal Studios Message Board "Chat"

Well, that is it for me tonight - here on the east coast, it is time for my guilty pleasure - Paradise Hotel. I am embaressed to admit it, but I am addicted! :o

Good night all!

Oh gosh! I keep forgetting to watch it! The DRAMA...so corny :p A "reality" drama...of course, which reality TV show isn't turned into a drama?

Which is why I never watch reality TV...only watched Paradise Hotel a couple times (maybe 4 or 5...if I happen to pass by it...or else I'd forget!). American Idol 2 was the only reality TV series I watched actively...and since I've learned a few things (and not good things, might I add)...I'm not watching it ever again, but I'll buy Clay Aiken's CD :)

Anyway, anyone wanna talk about Universal Studios (lol...I don't want to discuss reality TV ;) )? :)

Bummer, I don't know what Paradise Hotel is. Someone fill me in!

Um...it's this hotel where people must "hook up" in order to be able to stay for another week. Whoever doesn't get chosen as a roommate has to leave Paradise Hotel.

So, a lot of hooking up, breaking up, etc, etc...

Anybody on who wants to talk about Universal? I'll be on for another 30 minutes probably. :) At least I'll try...if I don't fall asleep............:smooth:

Me neither! Do you remember Zips? (Or did it have 2 Ps, Zipps?) Weren't they the COOLEST sneakers. Hope that's not just a NJ thing. I was SO convinced I ran faster in those.

I thought Zipps was a burger that cost 99 cents. :)

But Barry, how can you stand to walk around a park with artificial feet? I mean, obviously if you walked in the snow barefoot for long distances, you would have gotten frostbite...naturally... ;)

Actually, Tony Stark made me this cool suit with repulsor rays, boot jets, and a mini-bar. :)

Yes, where is Barry? I hope I didn't offend him - I really don't think he is older than us. Unfortunately, I bet he is younger:eek:

Some of us work for a living. :) Besides, I was way too busy writing trip reports. Check out the DIS Trip Report board for my summer coaster trip reports!

hehe...yup...I'm shy in RL :o

Dinosaur Discovery...hmm...I think it's the little area on the first floor of some restaurant in the Jurassic Park area...my dad likes it (it's geared for kids, but dads love it...lol). You wouldn't be missing anything really.

Is that the place where they have the triceratops, that Kelly M talks about in his book?

PS I'm eating Buffalo Chicken for dinner tonight. Did you?

YUM!!!! :p I went to Denny's for lunch right after school. My mom probablt won't let me get any for dinner :( May have to settle for a large order of Checker's Hot Fries...but I usually order it with the spicy chicken sandwich (which is sorta like buffalo chicken...). :)

Barry, you know that girls NEVER have gas. EVER. Really.

What a scary way to kill a thread!

I swear I don't do that! Come back!!! :jester:

lol....anyway....many people who like that singer, Clay Aiken, are planning a get together for a CD Release Party the day before the release of his debut album. They first said Disney area, but so far everyone's been saying to consider Universal Citywalk. That would be too cool  Bad thing is, it would be on a Monday....I'll have to miss school...I'll be going to Universal the following Friday...hope it works out!!

And now my mom is reconsidering September 5...grrr...I still think we are planning on it, but she's...hesitant because of me missing school. If I don't miss school for Universal, I'm going to have "sick days" again! Mi madre needs to keep her part of the deal, if she wants me to keep mine. ;)

lol...I'm not really so rude and stubborn and "don't understand..." just the more we go to Universal the better...

...and she's already talking about going lots more (and I mean LOTS). I just want to go September 5...I won't be able to go to Rock the Universe both nights though. :( Which btw - anyone going to Rock the Universe (posted this in my "meet ghostbuster fan" thread.)???

I'm also trying to go the Sunday before Labor Day, but that's not looking too good because of us going the following weekend,

Shucks :(
