Universal Studios discount tickets

We are heading to Universal Studios for the first time in July. I am wondering if there is any deals on tickets? Should I go for two days or just one? What day of the week is less busier than others or all they all the same at summer time? What advise can you give me for newcomber.

Buy one day get second day free tickets sold one their website. You should go for two days because it will be crowded due to the transformers ride.

Closer to the middle of the week the better for crowds.

If you go to http://www.getawaytoday.com/TicketListing?dest_id=2 they have discounted ticket that include the second day free.

If you go on a better crowd day you can get it all done in one day.

I think you can really get away with one day, even in the summer. We went in July and managed to fit in everything, including the Backlot Tour. Mind you, the Transformers Ride having just opened will definitely busy up the place! If you're staying (or living) close enough to use a 2nd day, it'd be worth it!

If you do the one day, make sure to get there before opening. We got there about 25 minutes before it opened and just grabbed a bite to eat from Cinnabon before going in
