I do it all the time since I decide at the last minute to run over. I like going alone so I can do what I want...when I want.I am thinking about doing 3 days in Orlando solo. I'm only really interested in doing Universal& IOA...has anyone done solo before? What's it like?

Do you have any questions I can answer?

I would spend two days at the parks unless you're going to skip a lot of the rides but staying onsite is a great idea too. You can take your time and hang out at the pool or whatever you wanted.Cool, what do you do by yourself? I mean I can see riding the rides but then there's no waiting around for anyone else etc. I'm wondering whether it's worth paying the admission or whether I should spend more on a hotel and spend 3 days by the pool![]()

That's OK...there are plenty of hotels in the area that offer shuttles to and from Universal in all price ranges.Staying onsite isn't an option. I'm looking at $50-100/night.
Oh I have no problem doing Universal by myself. I've only done it once or twice.
I got there super early, walked straight to the Mummy. Believe me.. being the only person in the queue and on the ride can get to you. Probably the best experience I've had on the Mummy ever.![]()
Ooh perhaps screw the solo part; my friend just seemingly jumped at the chance! Can anyone recommend a good hotel for 2 girls near US for $50/night or less? We're not picky, just as long as it's clean!

Did you try the universal package deals?

The Wynfield is above our level Kath. All we look for is a clean place to take a shower, rack out, get ready for the next day. We don't spend much time in the room when we are in Orlando.
