I will ge going to Disney the last week in April. We decided we would spend one day at Universal. I have a 3 year old dd and a 9 month old ds. Which park would be a better fit for them, Universal or Islands of Adventure. We probably will not do both so I would like to pick the one which they would enjoy most. thanks.

Probably IOA. There is more "eye candy" as well as play areas and rides.

I'll pick USF because of the water play areas, the Barney show, and Animal Planet live. Kids that age really won't remember the trip in a year. To them, it's just a fun time. They'll spend hours in the play areas, so bring a change of cloths. You can go thru the Nick tour, and the stationary seats of Jimmy Neutron.
You can use baby swap for the Mummy, and MIB, but for the most part, you'll be watching them in the play grounds. They'll zonk out in the strollers by the afternoon.
