Universal Mail offer rate/ WOW

I received this offer in the mail today. I didn't do anything to generate it. The last time we were at Universal was August, 2008.

I'm not sure I'll be able to use it, but I'm happy I got it - just in case!

Well Heck!
"Y'all" have really stirred up a hornet's nest at my home!:confused3
That silly Universal postcard has been sitting on my desk for a week...unopened.
Of course, after reading the posts here-just for laughs-I opened it up.
1 Unique Offer Code later...looks like "The Mouse" will be getting a few days less of my "cheese".
Now we hafta do some serious trip overhauling!
4-nights at RP-pre-Christmas-less than $600!
Someone...talk me out of it.:confused3

i have gone to universal yearly since 1993.

i stay on site.

some years i go a couple of different times.

i have never received a pin........
probably cause they know i am returning no matter what.....

i have been fortunate though on the room costs.
i have the AP, the AAA and can usually find a promo that is out for the general public.

the superbowl promo was one of the best for rates in a long time.
this year's stay more, play more has been done before but it still beats the ap and aaa rates for me.

i can't complain.
i'm treated well at the hotels and have always had a promo or discount from the cards.

it's all good.

i can remember the rph rate of $79 a night.
the entertainment book discount was good for some years in the wwwaaayyy past.
then it was revamped and not worth it anymore.

congratulations to all that have recieved the pins and will get to use them!!
it is so good to hear of many posters getting good room deals.
it really is!

I have never received a pin either, but sure would love one. I hope one ends up in the mail box, please.;)

I somehow managed to get one. We did go down last October, and I filled out just about EVERY survey they gave me regarding their Horror Nights since then. We weren't going this year, but now we are. And for the first time, just Universal, no Disney... maybe even Seaworld if we can squeeze it in.

Can't wait it's going to be a total surprise....

Both my husband and I got one of the postcards! We've stayed at PBH and RPR and I'm guessing one of the reservations must have been in my name. It worked on us! :) We were originally planning to stay 2 days CL at the Yacht Club and then 2 days at RPR. We switched to all 4 days CL at RPR for 191 per night ($215 with tax). That's amazing! I'm actually staying CL at RPR for 4 days for less than 2 nights CL at the Yacht Club.

In the past we've only stayed at Universal for one night so I'm excited to try out a lengthy visit! The postcard was a wonderful surprise!

We are going in October and then again in Dec/Jan. I hope we get a PIN for the Dec/Jan trip.

Got the mailer on Monday. Needless to say we booked a stay. It seems it was generated because we are past guests and had not booked anything this year.

We did nothing on line.

We've actually stayed at Universal twice this year and we didn't do anything online. I wonder who their target market is? I'm glad we fell in it -- whatever it is.
