Universal Horror Nights on TRAVEL CHANNEL Tomorrow!!

I loved the show and now I can't wait to go. It showed Erik (aka The Lizard Man.) Is he going to be there this year also? I am good friends with his girlfriend of 4 years. I'd love to see him in a show.

Hey Fly Fly.... when you changed your aol sn I lost cotact w/ you!!! you gotta keep in touch if we are going to go to UCF!!! ;) ..... Yeah Erik the lizard guy is a strange one... wonder what it was like for the chick who went out w/ a guy w/ a forked tongue  ANYWAY!!... lol... It would be cool if they were still there but what would be even better is the Jim Rose Circus... hat would be CRAZY!!!:p

Prince- I'm there 10/4 too. 5:30 with Express passes in hand. Screamhouse 1st? Bill and Ted's 1st show? Do you have a touring plan? My DS15 refused to watch it on TV last night. He is saying we should go to Busch Gardens instead. He waits until I buy tickets to offer any input. HHN might be a good opportunity to snuff him!!! I will drag him in kickin' and screamin'.

We don't have a touring plan. We are going to hide out in the Enchanted Oak when IOA closes, have dinner, and hopefully get in early with express passes in hand. If we see the lady with the 15 year old being dragged into the park and houses, we will know its you.:D
Spidey, go for the tickets. It sounds like a blast, but get them soon. They say this is one of the busiest nights of the year.

It was cool.
They gave all the background details on each maze, then did a walkthru. They'd follow a girl thru the maze, camera in front, showing them being scared, then switch back to a camera looking forward, kinda like they do on a roller coaster POV.
The gave lots of behind the scenes info on how they set up for the event, how they make the foam in Toon Lagoon, how the rat lady is ok with getting nipped by rats. Talked about casting for the scareators, how they all want the chainsaw job. Showed the sound stage from up above and how they buy the props for it. Showed the water pumps that make a water fall in one of the mazes, plus the tunnel vortex with the green lights that shine in. Lots of details. When I go, I'm going to pay more attention to the props and all the little stuff.

I taped it. You still need it Barry? PM me if you do with your address.

I enjoyed the show. it brought back memories of how freaked out scared I was going through those houses. I hope this years horror nights are better than last years with more monsters and fewer chainsaw guys. I still say the best horror nights at Universal were in the year 2000 at the Studios when they had a parade and actually had the monster cafe open during halloween night. I miss seeing the classic movie monsters like Frankenstein, Dracula, etc.. and they had scarey clowns. not those smiling ones who were jumping around in the bubbles. they had clowns like Penny wise (from the movie It) that would jump out of the fog and scare you to death. I love IOA, but really, halloween needs to be brought back to the studios where it has always been. it seems like they would have thought of that when featuring a movie director for horror nights. hmm, movie director, studios? well, anyway, I can't wait to be there on Oct. 28 & 31st to see. btw, wonder why they didn't mention the Bill & Ted show? Linda

but my co worker was on that show. She was in the haunted houses as the cameras followed her. She was so surprised that I recognized her with the way the lighting was set up. It was cool to see her. She said that she knew as the camera man would be right in front of her during the experience.

Thats very cool Spidey! I hope she taped it!

She did. By the way, it's on again tomorrow at 4 p.m.
