Hi everyone,

I haven’t done Universal since it first opened so it’s been a really long time! I’m a huge Disney girl at heart and have been since I was a kid so all of our trips are only to Disney. I’m raising my kids the same way, although, they are also Harry Potter fans. Next August we have a 7 day Disney cruise planned (it’s rescheduled twice due to Covid)! Husband and I are thinking about going down on Wednesday, spending Wed-Friday at Universal, then leaving Friday to meet up with the rest of the family we’re doing the cruise with on Saturday. Just a couple of questions though-

1. Two days enough for Harry Potter? We will have a 12 and a 14 year old at that time so no babies! We’re also planning on staying at RP, most likely.
2. If we are to check out on Friday, do we need to leave immediately? Can we leave our luggage somewhere, spend the day at the pool or City Walk and then go back to MCO to meet with family and stay at the Hyatt there for our cruise the next day?

Thanks so much!

You should be able to leave your luggage at the front desk. Pretty much all hotels will do this either on the day of arrival or check out day.
