heading to Universal after staying in Disney 5 days. Have not been to Universal since 09. Looking at the calendar on our arrival day 4/28 Universal is open till 9p the following day both parks are only open till 6p.

Our arrival day Thursday 4/28 we will probably get into the parks early afternoon - maybe grab something quickly walking around. Thinking of hitting Universal - where would you start so late in the day? From reading I guess we should hit Harry Potter in the evening - where would you recommend dinner? Harry Potter World? I'm thinking we should end the day taking the train over to IOA.

The next morning both parks open at 8a - I assume we should hit IOA and do Harry Potter - take train to Universal and if we missed anything hit that and then go back to IOA and tour that park? We will be able to hit the parks again on our departure day - Saturday until about 3 to do any other rides

Is this how you recommend doing the parks? Please share any better itineraries! We have to teenage boys so willing to ride all the big rides!

Thanks - we will be staying at RPH!

I'd head over to Diagon Alley and do what you can there and eat at Leaky Cauldron. Hop on the train and go to Hogsmeade to see Hogwarts at twilight. It is magical.

With express, you don't need to plan for the other areas. Just go with the flow.

Ahhh. It is Grad Bash. April 28th, IOA it is open until 7. You should be able to hang around a bit but it definitely won't be twilight! Universal is open until 8:30 that night. So maybe do it the other way around. Start at IOA and take the train over to Universal.
