It has been very warm in Georgia also. We have been in the mid-80's all week. The pollen is so bad. Our pollen count was over 9,000 yesterday. It set a record. We have had to cut our grass several times already. Although, I don't mind cutting grass. I actually look forward to the "peace and quiet" time on the lawn mower.

Hi! I'm coming in late here on your PTR but I'm glad I found it! How wonderful you get to go on a Disney Cruise and Universal in a few days!

It's funny you mentioned the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. That's where I'm from We moved here to the Disney World area 3 years ago from Asheville. I went from an Annual Pass at the Biltmore Estate (we were just a few miles down the road from it) to Annual Passes to WDW!

Your trip sounds very exciting. Although I've lived here for 3 years now I've never been to Universal Studios here in Fl.

My cruise portion isn't till Nov. This is just the Universal trip coming next week.
I do really want to visit Biltmore some day...but I hate driving that distance anymore.

I had 15 days for this one. One year I planned WDW in 14 days and made ADR's and everything.

I didn't get to mow. The mower is barricaded in behind a bunch of tractors and Skip said maybe tomorrow he would get it out. I think it's a power thing for him. But I am going nuts because I swear I can see the grass growing. I like mowing too.

On the sad note...we are pretty sure the Harry Potter outfit got lost in the mail. It's been 11 days now since it was sent and no sign of it. I do hope it's gets found and back to Jeanne. This is really bothering me that it got lost. Please send some pixiedust to the post offices!

I put delivery confirm on all my packages as I lost a gift in the mail once. I like being able to track where the heck my item is!

I hope the Harry Potter outfit comes before your trip. Last year I ordered a pillowcase to have signed on the Dream and it was shipped first class, which should have been at my house in about 3 days. There was some mishap at the PO and it arrived after about 3 weeks, the day before we left. You never know

I guess I'll keep it short & sweet this time!

Last time I read your report, you were only on page 1 so I was a little behind but I caught up now!

I love all the outfits you bought for Claire!!! The dress is my favorite!!! I love how you got matching bows too!!! I'm lucky to have boys because I know my mom and I would both go broke with a girl!!! (Although I've already told my niece that when she gets a little older, I'm taking her on a shopping trip & letting her buy whatever she wants -- she's 2 now, so I'm thinking when she starts school, I'll take her shopping!!!)

Ugg!!! Flooded basements bring up horrible memories! My parents used to flood and we honestly had a routine that we knew by heart! We had it down pat -- what to move onto the washer/dryer/laundry table or freezer as quickly as possible in order to get the most amount of stuff up off the floor! It was crazy! Luckily they had french drains installed a few years ago when they added onto their house. They still have a little bit of water come in during really bad thunderstorms, but its nothing like it was.

You make me laugh because you sound like me! Every time my DH and I argue about anything, especially about vacations, I always tell him I'm going to write it down & make him sign it!!! For some reason, every year at DTD he picks a fight with me over something stupid. I honestly think its so I won't go in as many stores or spend as much money. Although I don't see why he cares because I take my own spending money. Last year I took my birthday money & I'll do the same this year. Oh well. Cheapskates! LOL!!!

I tried to talk to my mom the other day about Universal -- I haven't been there since 1998 and I have very few memories of it. The things I do remember are no longer there (sadly Jaws is gone!!!) I do know that they all agreed (her, my dad and Matthew) that one of the parks was great. They didn't care for the other park & left early but I'm not sure why. I'll try to find out & let you know.

I think its hilarious that Skip didn't want to go to Disney & now he wants to add a MK day & is asking you why you aren't going there! It really reminds me of my DH! First he said there was no trip this year. Then he agreed to go for a week. Now he's turned it into two weeks & he wants to rent a car & go to the mall & outlets & a bunch of stuff I never thought he'd want to do!!! Men! I don't understand them sometimes!

I've heard a lot of good things about Margaritaville and Bubba Gump's. If we ever go to Universal, I definitely want to try them both!!! My friend lives down in FL and she goes to both of them all the time so I guess they are really good!!! Make sure to take food pics to post for us to see on your TR!!!

That's terrible about the post office losing the outfit Jeanne was letting you borrow. I really really hope its just taking longer than it should for some reason & its found soon! Don't get me started on the PO though! Did I tell you about the Disney baby album I ordered for the baby? My stupid mail lady shoved a 12" x 12" hard cover album into my mailbox! It was so hard to get out -- we had to use a lot of force & really pull on it. She had it shoved into a u-shape inside the box & its completely ruined! I was beyond (words I'm not saying here...) I was disappointed. It was a really nice album that had the 12 slots on the front to add one picture each month. And it's a Disney album!!! I sent a letter to St Louis about it & turned in the damage to my local office. I know its not the same thing, but my luck with the PO has been horrible recently!

Speaking of! Did Claire get the puzzle? Let me know if she didn't. I have a tracking number for it since I printed my label online.

I think you'll have a really good time at Universal even if its just a few days. A few days is better than 0 days!

I had once ordered something on ebay for Claire for her b-day. I ordered an outfit about 6 weeks or more prior to her b-day and it never showed up til lafter her b-day. By then I had contacted the seller and she refunded me and told me if it ever showed up to just do whatever with it. Well it was too late so I gave it to a friend. So frustrating.

It's been crazy around here lately. I DID get the puzzle and we havde benn working on it...And I have been meaning to tell you thanks! And then thanks! That sucker is HARD!!!! And Claire thinks I should spend a whole day putting it together. I got a small section done, and I am so proud of myself! Claire helps me find pieces, and I try to make them fit. It's been set asidethis week though, too much going on.

My husband is something else. I need to have a taperecorder with me at all times so I can just play back what he says.

I just hope that we can get the dress back to Jeanne eventually. I've checked at my post office and she's gonna check with hers.
Claire is slightly disappointed...she loves her outfits and dresses...but she'll live with out one special outfit this trip. Claire loves to clothes shop. I have never seen a little girl who loves shopping so much.

I am happy that I have the charger. I do now know for sure that it was the cord that went bad on my other, so I can now use both of them with either my phone or Claire's ipod by sharing the cord that came with this one. I'll probably eventually try to fina another cord to for back up.

This day has been crazy!
I wanted to get my April stuff out in the mail before I left and I have been working like a mad dog on it! Thanks to the help of my other co-workers....I have sent it off now!
I also changed sheets, did dishes, laundry and a few other odds and ends.
And we are leaving for the circus in about an hour. (meeting at my sisters first for pizza)

I'll do a quick post about day 4 March 29th

This is the day I have planned to do anything we missed or want to redo, but this is the day that my husband also wants to go to MK. We'll see how things play out. We may just head over really early to MK and spend th whole day there, or stay at Universal till about 3 or so then head that way. Or skip it all together.
We do plan to stay for MSEP! Skip hasn't seen this one yet. Claire and I enjoyed it last spring, and I did get to see it this summer as well. It has really grown on me. I stil llike Spectro the most, but this one isn't bad at all. The music could be better though.

It will probably be just a counter service kind of day. I have a few places that I enjoy at MK, and there are several we have never tried, so we'll see how the day goes. I might try to get on of those orange dole whips! And of course I see a Mickey bar in my future! (And probably popcorn for Skip)

It will be after midnight by the time we get back to the hotel and we wil lflop in bed tire, and sad, as tomorrow we go home.

If it were me, I would forget about UO and just head to MK , but that is just me!!!!!!!!
I had to when I read your comment that the music to MSEP should be better. We just LOVE the music and would not have it any other way. BUT, we will always associate the music and parade with my mum seeing it for the first time and seeing her so very happy! She sang and danced along with it and no one would have thought that she would not be there any more 5 years later.
Okay, back to topic! I am sure you will be VERY tired by the end of the day - I admire you for attempting UO and MK the same day.
