Universal Adventures of Dreams AND Magic, and an expanding World!

Those are SO cute! I can't wait to see your photos on Seussland with her in those! You did great for such a quick turnaround! :thumbsup2

I'll keep my fingers crossed that your cord is here in time.

Can we assume you won't be leaving it behind? :duck:

Love those outfits on Claire! The bows are the final touch. Wish my GDs lived closer so that I could get things like that for them. I have bought things, but I never get to see them wearing the outfits.

I voted, was nice to see you are in the lead!:dance3:

I, too am a HP geek, I really love those books. I would buy a wand if I were there, also would be getting a Butterbeer!:cloud9:

Catching up here!

Sorry to hear of your waterfall in the basement! We had the PVC pipe break halfway between the pump hole and the outlet a few years ago! It was horrible!

What a late flight! I'd go crazy waiting too!

I love Back to the Future too! but I have to confess Harry Potter just hasn't hooked me yet. Maybe if Kadence is interested.

Get an airhorn! That will get them outta bed!:lmao:

Love the outfits!

Love the outfits, Jen! Claire looks super cute in them!

Sorry about the charger. Hope Amazon delivers on time! :thumbsup2

Things are coming together now! She really seems to like both outfits too, which is a plus. I just need to get them ironed and get our suitcases sorted out.

The charger has shipped...so thats also a plus.

I've debated a wand purchase too. They are expensive though.....well at least for not be able to actually do magic with them. :rotfl:

Butterbeer is at the top of my list.

An airhorn is a great idea! But then I would probably have Claire cry about how I scared her for an hour.:rolleyes1

Thanks. I am getting very excited. I think Skip might be too. He asks me daily now if Claire and I are excited and ready to go....um YES!!! I just wish we had more time.

Amazon has shipped....It's supposed to be here by the 24th....I hope thats true.

Here's hoping for a magical time!

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I know, I know, but they have magic over at US too!

Those outfits are too cute! I can't wait to see the HP one!

Yes, the wands are expensive, but they are decent quality. Also, DS still gets his out of the box and plays with it whenever there is a HP marathon on TV. He runs around the house doing "spells" on us! You could get Claire a scarf or cloak and use it for Halloween this fall!

Those outfits are great! I love the pillow case dress!

Hopefully your charger comes fast! Stinks that it broke. I am going away in June and lost the charger to my waterproof camera. So I have to find it in the next couple weeks or else I will have to buy a new one. Thing that stinks the most is I bought a replacement charger for this same camera last year (I rarely use this one)! April and May are so crazy busy. My weekends seem to go by way to fast these days!

It sure it! Harry Potter is a Wizard!

What cute outfits and such a lovely girl modeling them. ;)

Thanks!

Claire would probably try to make me disappear! ;)

I swear eveytime I get ready to go anywhere I have a charger of some sort...or battery that goes bad.

I love the thing 1 dress! It is so adorable. I hope your stuff arrives!

I do too!

I was hoping he Harry Potter outfit would've arrived today, but it didn't. She said I should've gotten it already...let's hope it comes tomorrow.

:joker: :joker: :joker: :joker: :joker:

I hope no little jokers put any "mishaps" into this trip!

I'd love to count down your November trip for you too...... but remember they cap the number of emoticons to 25 per post. 227 is a little too far to go. That's sort of depressing considering that my trip is even longer away.......

OMG - those outfits are SO adorable! Who knew? Obviously not me. :confused3 And the bows - SO cute!

Thanks for having Claire model them. Love them!

I hope all the jokers and gremlins stay away!
That next trip is so far away yet! :sad1: But it will be fun and I still have so many ideas going through my mind on what to do and how long to stay.

I love the outfits too. Claire can't wait to wear them, but she thinks we will only be allowed in Seuss Landing when she wears them. I told her we can still go to other parts of the parks! :)

Day 3, March 28th.

Today we have a 9 AM rservation for breakfast at the Three Broomsticks. This was part of our package deal, but wasn't included if we stayed onstie, which also was a deciding factor with Skip. We not only got this breakfast, but a continetal one at our hotel as well, so to him, those are major selling points for being offsite. Forget the Express pass, food is better! ;)
I am hoping to get to thep ark for early entry first, but if not, we'll just head to breakfast first. This day will be most likely similar to the day before. We'll try to ride what we can and explire the parks.
We "might" head to MK this day later on. We have it planned for Thursday, but that day has morning EMH's, which will make the park busier. BUT, if we go to MK on this day, and stay till after the MSEP, it will be hard to get up the next morning to head back to Universal. Well not hard for me, but hard for the other 2. BUT. I could always go and do early entry myself and then head back and pick them up after they wake.

I wish I could give you more details about our day, but until we get there and see how the crowds are and how fast the flow is, I just can't make any definite plans. Knowing us, things could completely change while we're there.

Yesterday was a busy day.
I tried to get the house straightened up a bit and tackled the ironing pile. I headed off to the store to buy a pillowcase and came home and made this!

Claire will take this along to get character signatures.

I went through the suitcase (without my helper) and made sure we have what we need, though I didn't take notes, so I'll have to do a once over before we leave to be sure I have everything.
The Harry Potter bow has shipped and is expected to arrive on Friday. Hopefully the outfit arrives today. Jeanne said she sent it out a few days ago, and I just would feel awful if it got lost in the mail.

Claire came home so grumpy yesterday...tears about EVERYTHING. She had a playdate at a friends house the day before and it sounds like they jumped on the trampoline for about 2 hours of the time she was there. I guess that totally exhuasted her.
Finally, in the middle of homework, and her crying over every problem, I told her we were laying down and taking a nap, because I wasn't listening to crying anymore. She didn't want one, but did come lay down with me and I read to her from the Universal brochure. After a few pages, I told her we now need to close our eyes. Not long after that, I heard VERY loud snoring. You would've thought I was laying next to a truck driver. She was out and slept a good hour. (I went out for a bit too). She was much more pleasant after that and we went outside and worked in the yard till 7:45. I can't believe that it is still March and it's 80 degrees out. Today I am mowing the grass....yep, it's that long, that I need to start doing it.

Tomorrow is dance class after School and Friday we are going to the circus with my family. The days are just flying by!

Hi! I'm coming in late here on your PTR but I'm glad I found it! How wonderful you get to go on a Disney Cruise and Universal in a few days!

It's funny you mentioned the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. That's where I'm from :) We moved here to the Disney World area 3 years ago from Asheville. I went from an Annual Pass at the Biltmore Estate (we were just a few miles down the road from it) to Annual Passes to WDW!

Your trip sounds very exciting. Although I've lived here for 3 years now I've never been to Universal Studios here in Fl.

Have fun on your trip and I can't wait to hear all about it!
