Unexpected reaction to 4th FP+? (My scheduling)

Keep in mind that there is a good possibility that the way the system works now is only temporary. A lot of people have expected that the requirement to use all 3 before getting a 4th is just a short term stop on the way to allowing.guets to make a 4th FP reservation after using just one of the original 3. One poster reported being told by a cast member he/she knows that that change may be coming as soon as July. If it does, the approach of essentially throwing away 3 FPs as soon as possible to dive into the pool of what's left over could end up being unnecessary and less useful than making FP+ reservations for more popular attractions at busier times of the day.

But rope drop does still seem to work well. Full disclaimer this was our first rope drop at MK and it was cold and rainy. We usually arrive at 9:30 or 10. I thought about changing ours but the FP+ 4th was so new and didn't work out for us at Epcot or DHS so I kept them.

Maybe no commando-style but we did quite a bit before our first FP at 11:40.

Rope drop on 5/3
Tea cups - no wait
Pooh - no wait
Space mountain - maybe five minutes
Kids ride space mountain again - 15 minutes
DH and DDs Buzz twice - 10 to 15 minutes
(While I practically ran to sir mickeys because a DISer posted they had Elsa dresses. Bummed only size xxs but scored an Elsa animators collection doll for my niece)
Dumbo - 20 minutes
Barnstormer - 10 minutes.

Pretty good morning and didn't risk my preferred times for my 1-3 fastpasses.

This.^^^^^^^^^ I won't be focusing on a 4th FP+. We'll still get there for rope drop and ride Soarin and Test Track in the standby line and use my 3 FP+ for the evening in MK and ride Splash, Space, and 7 DMT.

Sent from my IPad using DisBoards.

I would love a rolling 4th and hope it does come to fruition by my.Oct trip.

I am getting worked up over did I pick the right times will We be there at that time will We be able to change will it interfere with ADR will We get a fourth. Etctcetcera. And then there is everyone else in the party to worry about. Maybe everyone should make their own and everyone go their separate ways.

Can you book a 4th, 5th etc, from tier 1, if you already had/used one tier 1 ride/attraction already?

Yes, once your 3 FP+ are used or expired, you can (in theory) book your 4th for any ride including one from Tier 1

You could do this again for the 5th FP+ after you have used the 4th one.... if any Tier 1 are still available that is
