The attributes listed in the auction seem to be leaning towards use for pretending this is a real baby. That creeps me out.

Yup. I was admiring the artistic craftmanship of it until I read that, and that made me feel a little weird.

For me personally, it is so real (I thought it was real until I saw the explanation), but it looked like a DEAD baby.

Why would anyone want a doll that looks THIS realistic?

K, the more I read, the creepier it gets, IMO. The story the seller creates is just bizarre ...newborn left on her doorstep? ...cruel introduction to the world? ...he seemed cold at first?

There is even a picture of him naked butt with a caption that reads "Couldn’t you just bite that little hiney?"

I dunno, that goes a wee bit further than artistic and well into creepy and weird.

If this person does not work in the prop industry they are missing their calling. Very realistic. But the story is cweepy.

I thought it was amazing, but the description is to say the least a bit weird. Even if I wanted one I could never afford it... $1,800 was the winning bid, started at $250, ouch!

I can't believe how real it looks. How did she make that? I swear it doesn't look like a doll. I thought it was a real baby. I admit, I was fooled.

What got me was the part in the title about real skin. It looks so real I thought of that movie where the killer was making a life sized doll out of the skin of his victims. Still, I think he's adorable and maybe it would get me over my current case of empty arms syndrome. Though at $1800 that case would have to be terminal!

Dh says when a baby's diaper is warm, it's never a good sign
