Awww, it must be an out of the country thing. Alysa is in Canada and you are in Australia, makes sense to me now why y'all can't see it. I've tried finding it else where to try and post here....didn't work. So sorry.
I really like the black one too, so did my hubby. He liked it even better than the pink one y'all can't see, said it's not so busy. Boys.

Both dresses are adorable, but I really love the black dress (I'm a big fan of black dresses). And my favorite store--Dillards--NOT! I found the dress I wanted for the kids wedding there when in Florida, and not one of four stores had it in my size...I was not a happy camper.

You deserve to buy lots of new clothes for this trip.

Thank goodness for CoCo Chanel and her little black dress (LBD), women have been looking truly fabulous since. Sorry about Dillards not having your dress, you should have had me look here, I would have at least searched here and San Antonio for it. Next time you find something in Dillards have them search S.A. and Austin areas (on the computer) to see if I can pick it up for you. And thank you about me deserving new clothes. It's a good thing you think so, otherwise I'd have to go nakers!

Well, I didn't know what a criminal you were - you're probably making moonshine in the tool shed or something! And that juvenile deliquent daughter of yours - you need to do something with her. I always get irritated about these things - spend your time and money on something that really matters. Of course, like you said, they have to get their government money by threatening the parents.

I have to let you know I have used the blanket you made me quite a bit this Winter - I am a little shocked how cold it's been! Love ya!

There is soo much that is messed up with the system (local and federal) these days, it will truly take a miracle to straighten it all out. I have no question as to why soooo many parents end up homeschooling their children. Dealing with all the crazy stuff at times makes me wish I still homeschooled Mackie.

I'm happy to hear you've been getting a lot of use out of it. I'm not shocked at all that you've had some pretty cold weather. I think I told you about how cold it was when I visited that area in the winter, all those years ago. I imagine you'll have some pretty warm winters too, the weather will ebb and flow (if you will) like it does here. Some Christmas's we're wearing shorts, others we have on clothes like we're in -15 degree weather.

I LOVE the Macy's dress. I know black is more practical and yadda yadda but that pink is STUNNING. And bright and colorful and exactly what I picture in the GF for tea.

I'm pretty sure you did since I read about it, I know you don't have a report going so you had to have said it here. Wow! This getting older and memory thing.....I tell ya!! Actually, I'm taking a natural supplement (lecithin) that helps with breaking down and ridding the body of fat (don't get too excited-it only helps if you are working out ) that also happens to help with memory, so the fact I remember you saying it is kinda a big win for me!! I think I even mentioned you doing a TR on your solo trip since you'll be down from the sugery with nothing to do. See! Hope your leg is doing okay, how is it going?

I know! Right?!? Bright and colorful for tea is what I what I had in mind too. I love the black dress just to have the black dress on hand, but the pink one is my favorite color, it looks good on me and it's not black for once! I actually want to wear color now!! Which is a really big deal for me, usually I'm wearing black to cover things up. But if I wear that pink dress......fugetaboutit!!

I am doing alright. I'm two weeks post op, and I was supposed to be walking two-three days after surgery.

Ha. Ha ha.

I'm in physical therapy and still using one crutch. It is possible that I'll be able to drive in the next 1-2 weeks. There are days when I see the silver lining. Time at home is nice, even if the toddler is exhausting. And it really gives me an opportunity to focus on healthy eating habits since I'm not going anywhere and can easily make all my meals and follow my diet.

But some days are hard. And some days I cry. I can say that rather happily now because that is just life. Anything worth doing can be extremely hard. Now I know why they call it physical therapy.

So I'm on the slow and steady wins the race road, and hope to be back to my chasing after Jack Sparrow status soon!
