Have you tried SAVE20 on retailmenot? If so, it won't work because it's expired (expired yesterday).

The general public 20% off codes only work on non- prestige brands. If you have high end department store brands in your cart it won't work. Read the exclusions.

Ulta's coupons and codes are really restrictive. You pretty much can't use them on any major brand item. They call them "prestige" brands. I've never actually been able to get a list of what they consider "prestige" but a cashier once told me it's pretty much anything on the side of the store that has their higher end cosmetics and products. Good luck figuring it out.

Drugstore brands like Revlon, Maybelline, Cover Girl are non- prestige. Mid end brands like Smashbox, Urban Decay, Tarte, Stila are prestige. They usually have a list posted by the front registers. The only time prestige gets 20% off is if you get a promotional mailer in the snail mail. It will specifically say "no exclusions" or it may exclude fragrances, high end skincare and Lancôme only.

I use my ulta coupons I get in the mail and the only exclusions are typically fragrance.

I used 20% last week and got redken, matrix, smashbox, essie, and opi products.
