Rest Your Broken Arm
Our eventful morning in AK was making us hungry (and because we had a “tight” schedule this was our chance to get food) But first photo pass photos…because we were clearly becoming obsessed with them.
The everest photopass CM was a bit strange. He came up to us and was like “You 2 are real princesses right?!” One thing I’ve noticed was Erin was never about the CMs small talk. Me on the other hand know that CM small talk struggle of how it’s your job to interact with guests. So I went along with the charade and agreed. He then said how he had the best pose for us and as we were walking away he goes “Now you have blackmail photos of each other” Like excuse me sir I thought you said I was a princess why would I hate this photo?!
With blackmail photos linked to our magic bands we headed to Dinosaur USA. We were in need of some nuggs and restaurantosaurus was just the place to get them. Getting there should have been easy peasy, that was until we saw a board looking Photopass CM, don’t worry girl we would love for you to take some photos of us.
We finally made it to restaurantosaurus and guys I was reunited with my pail! Heres to being a child and your meal coming in a sand pail. Flashback to my first “pal” in May 2016 and how hilarious I thought I was with all my…”just me and my only pal” jokes. And you best believe I was throwing though jokes around again.
During our meal Erin was face timing Amelia because they were at Country Bears and the lack of enthusiasm from that group was very disappointing. Erin was then trying to explain the place we were eating at and our hearing this trip was shot because we were hearing weird things. This time I was trying to tell her restaurantosaurus but she heard…rest your broken arm. So now I will forever call it Rest your broken arm.
After lunch I took my only pal (and Erin) and headed back to Pandora. Up next was na'vi river journey.
This ride was quick and I was always waiting for something to happen. It was beautiful inside but that was it, nothing all that exciting and I’m glad we got a fastpass because its not worth the wait. It was definitely a let down after Flights, so I would say do River than flight.
On the way out we caught the ending of the Swotu Wayä Na'vi Drum Ceremony.
Hi we’re Erin and Sam and we are always making friends with the AK entertainment.
However this time around the one guy took my only pail! But its ok because today friendships were made that will last a lifetime.
Then it was one loop around Pandora because this place is just so photographic!
We had one last fp to use today before we headed out of AK for the day. So it was off to the harambe village. First to browse some shops, because we had a half hour to kill, and then to FotLK!
On our way out of Pandora we met this awesome girl was ready to photobomb us
and then we followed behind this family who seemed to really like to stay hydrated. But honestly I would not want to be the one in charge of dragging that cooler behind me.
At this time Alicia’s roommate was in the park, my sister has been living with this kid for over a year, I was about to go to Disneyland paris with him and I have still yet to meet him. So after he came at me with questioning if I ever stay home (which is clearly no) we tried figuring out if we would run into each other at the park. Spoiler alert it didn’t happen because after fotlk we were leaving. But maybe one day.
Instead I’ll just have to bike around the harambe village with just my “pal”
After being annoyed with myself we headed to the fp entrance for FoTLK and there we waited with so many hot and sweaty people. Where I’m pretty sure I was about to pass out because everyone obeys Disney CMs when they say keep moving in using all available space. But the humidity and body heat of everyone surrounding was taking a toll on me and I was counting down every minute until they opened those doors. When they did finally opening I ran for that AC and for a good spot. Straight to the elephants to a spot on the end of the bench, and lucky for us everyone had to slide down to us to keep making room.
Let the processional begin!
As the show was doing its big opening Erin turned to me and said “There are only 3 monkeys” And thats when I knew their act was getting cut out of todays show…I was so upset. I come to see the monkeys. However the mood changed a bit once we noticed my favorite monkey was there.
And since he couldn’t tumble, he was out of control for most of the show
And even though the monkeys got canned, it was still a great show

I've never seen FOTLK without the monkey's. They bring so much excitement to the show. I guess for those who have never seen it they have no idea what they're missing.
I had no idea you could bring a rolling ice chest in Disney. I knew you could bring the soft sided kind you carry or put in a back pack. I sure wouldn't want to drag that thing from ride to ride.

It happened to me once before and its very strange. Although most people didn't even realize it since it flew nicely into the next part that you couldn't even tell.I've never seen FOTLK without the monkey's. They bring so much excitement to the show. I guess for those who have never seen it they have no idea what they're missing.

Dreadful Sorry...Frankenstein
On our way back to the lodge I texted my sister to let her know that we were heading back. Her and Justin spent the day at the pool and enjoying our club level snacks, thanks to me being so nice and bringing my extra magic bands for them. Once we got back to our room, there they were lounging in our room. But actually they were taking up the bathroom area getting ready for the night.
Tonight we were headed to my favorite resort and my favorite meal on all of disney property. Off to the fort for some good ole roof raising at Hoop Dee Doo! But first we all got ready and relaxed for a bit. I took this time to FaceTime my BFF Gma and while I chatted with her Justin took the time to say Hi to her. It was a short chat about what we were doing for the night and how it was going back home.
The nice thing about staying at the lodge is that we could take a short bus ride over to Fort which made it very accommodating for us. So around 3:15 we decided to head over for our 4pm show. Well at this time Justin realized he forgot his ID back at Alicia’s apartment. Alicia insisted that they could make it there and back before the show started and that it would not be the full HDD experience without the unlimited alcohol. With them off on their mission, Erin and I headed over to the fort. It was a drizzly night so once we arrived the photo op was not happening, which of course would happen since we could finally get the photo for free.
We checked in and was told that Alicia needed to come back to them to show her cast ID. So I texted her to tell her to stop by the check in to do that. At 4 they started letting us in and right away I noticed they changed the tables and chairs, no more table clothes and the new chairs are great now that they swivel.
I was super excited because this was Erin’s first time. I was sort of nervous that she wouldn’t like it. I talk it up a lot and I finally got her there, this was my pick of the trip.
Our waitress was very unimpressed, so far it was only me and Erin and we were waiting for Alicia and Justin. They were stuck back at the lodge waiting for a bus and she was freaking out about missing it, to the point where she wasn't even going to try to make it anymore.
Soon the pioneer hall players were charging their way through the backdoor and it was time to start singing along with “lets raise the roof inside the hoop dee doo and we’ll have a good time tonight”
I was super excited about our sixbits because he is my favorite. And throughout the entire show he would just laugh at himself.
And in the middle of the opening Alicia and Justin finally made it. Not super late like they original thought.
Bring on all the food, laughs and the good old clara laughing drinking game. (Side note: tonight our waitress was not as quick with the drinks so Erin took it upon herself to keep a tally of each laugh we missed until our drinks came)
No while the show is going on and you clapping and singing along make sure to take the time to eat the corn bread! That corn bread with honey butter is my FAVORITE! I could eat it all day long.
“MORE CHICKEN MORE CHICKEN MORE CHICKEN…LETS EAT!”
But no Hoop meal would be complete without asking for that delicious mac and cheese on the kids menu. The only struggle is there is so much food and not enough room for all the food at the table. And while we chowed down on chicken, ribs, mashed potatoes…Johnny and Clara took the stage. This was actually a first, they never get this slot in the show normally its Flora. (and this is the point when you realize you come here too much)
And then it was Jim and Flora’s famous duet that ends in napkin waving.
Followed by the song that will make you cry…get those hankies ready
She was lost and gone forever, dreadful sorry... frankenstein
Then Dolly gave sixbits his time to shine
While they got ready for the big finale it was time to chow down on some strawberry shortcake!
Hello beautiful!!!!! Its a shame that I never have enough time to eat you because I’m to busy watching the show.
Onto the big finished…the ballad of davy crockett. And with that comes all the bear puns.
Davy’s in trouble, gotta bring out his friend the trusty indian scout
Down in the a-lame-o…or Alamo
Anymore bad bear jokes like that and you’ll end up like one of your relatives

Overall I think the show was a big hit with the two newbies us sisters brought with us tonight. And I’m once again counting down the days till I can be back at Pioneer Hall. This show will forever be on my dream disney jobs.

"I'm Drunk...HA-HA"
Normally we go to the last hoop dee doo show but they changed the CM discount so we could get the first showing, leaving us with a night of fun in the kingdom. But first we needed our hoop photo op that we never got at the beginning. There was a kid having a grand old time sucking up the rain water in his apple juice juice box, but we had to interrupt that fun
And before we caught the boat over to MK we needed to stop to take our usual sister pic.
If you’re new to my TRs Fort is our home, this is where we stayed growing up, it holds a special place in our hearts. So every visit we take a picture in front of the sign, its just what we do.
And I’m currently counting down the days until I stay here, about a month left till I’m back at the fort and going to MNSSHP! 2 of my favorite things! (And I already asked my parents if we could go to HDD…)
Once on our way across bay lake and the seven seas lagoon, we started discussing all the sights Alicia needs to show Justin when they come home (but we shall see how this hurricane effects there trip)
When we got to the kingdom the first thing we did was…photopass photos in front of the castle.
Ready or not we are ready to take over the kingdom for the night
The main reason we were here was for the fireworks but we had a good 2.5 hours before that. So off we went to tomorrowland. Erin was playing the “Let’s see how long I can last in my heals” game. But decided to change shoes once we got in line for the people mover.
Our cart was turned into a dance party…because the dance party was going on and we just could’t contain ourselves. #welovethepeoplemover
Once we got off the TTA, the rain started. It was that disney downpour, just that drizzle that can be annoying but it is also pointless to pull out ponchos or rain jackets. So we stood under the shelter to make a game plan. Justin pulled out the handy dandy app and everything had a wait. And we all mutually agreed to Pirates. But before that Justin was in need of some caffeine and how can you say no to Starbucks?
With starbucks in hand we headed back out into the rain and over to adventure land. There we waited, the line was outside the building but with good company lines aren’t all that horrible. Instead the topic of halloween pasts came up. That led to Alicia bringing up Justin’s favorite photo…of when I was a ghost as a child. The four of us just looked at that and laughed. I was an unimpressed toddler in a homemade ghost costume. And why that’s Justin’s favorite photo? Who knows.
Yo Ho a pirates life for me!
After Pirates we headed to the hub for the fireworks. Tonight we were meeting up with a group from the studio. As we got closer I questioned if this was going to be a good idea, not for the reason of the people we were meeting up with but how the fireworks were going to effect me now that the whole Gma thing was out.
We met up with Amelia, her mother Krista, the lurking uncle Mike and Miss Barb and Miss Sue. They got some nice spots on the hub grass and I wasn’t complaining. Plus so much more room to dance than being smushed on Main Street. My sister ditched me to stand like 10 feet away because she found a spot without a lamp post in her way.
Everything was going great, laughing dancing trying to not think about things but then the fireworks started and I lost it. Erin was a great friend in forcing me to look away during the Moana part as I did my best not to cry but I did and she was there with her Erin hugs, something I will always appreciate in my life. I got through the rest of HEA great, I pushed it aside and sang along like nothing happened.
But then it ended and I went over to my sister who watched it for the first time. I don’t really know why I was so emotional or why this situation was getting me so badly but all I remember was running into her arms and having a total breakdown. I remember repeating over and over how I just wanted to go home and that I didn’t even care about missing out on the next 8 days in Disney. I was just a mess. I also remember saying “I don’t cry thats Danielle’s job”
Alicia was quick to get Erin and we were out of the kingdom quick. The stroll out of MK was quiet at first but Erin lightened the mood with how she was a diversion to take all eyes off me, she knows I'm sole-less and Sam's sole was showing . “I was dancing like crazy. Then I said guess what? I’m drunk… HA HA.” She wasn’t really drunk she was just being a good friend and her story made me laugh when I needed it and it still makes me laugh to this day.
The boat ride back gave me enough to get back to my old self, plus I didn’t want to keep the mood down and awkward. Once we got back to the lodge we had 5 minutes left of desserts. Honestly there is nothing that a tray of cupcakes can’t cure.
Alicia and Justin headed home for the night but we would be spending most of the time tomorrow with Alicia. Erin took the tray of desserts down to the pool where we met up with Amelia and had a little pool party. Side note: the WL waterslide is not all that thrilling. We stayed until pool closing and headed back up to the room. Shortly after Krista came up to get Amelia and we all hung out on the balcony and chatted for a bit before they headed back to their room.
Tomorrow was yet another early morning but this time it was to ride threw the movies one last time.

The stroll out of MK was quiet at first but Erin lightened the mood with how she was a diversion to take all eyes off me, she knows I'm sole-less and Sam's sole was showing . “I was dancing like crazy. Then I said guess what? I’m drunk… HA HA.” She wasn’t really drunk she was just being a good friend and her story made me laugh when I needed it and it still makes me laugh to this day.
The boat ride back gave me enough to get back to my old self, plus I didn’t want to keep the mood down and awkward. Once we got back to the lodge we had 5 minutes left of desserts. Honestly there is nothing that a tray of cupcakes can’t cure.
Alicia and Justin headed home for the night but we would be spending most of the time tomorrow with Alicia. Erin took the tray of desserts down to the pool where we met up with Amelia and had a little pool party. Side note: the WL waterslide is not all that thrilling. We stayed until pool closing and headed back up to the room. Shortly after Krista came up to get Amelia and we all hung out on the balcony and chatted for a bit before they headed back to their room.
Tomorrow was yet another early morning but this time it was to ride threw the movies one last time.

Her flights got canceled way to much that she decided to drive home. So she is safe and sound
She is out of Irma's way because she came home a few days early since they closed the parks and she didn't have to work

That's A Wrap!
Like every good Disney vacation, theres no sleeping! And today was another rise and shine morning. It was the last day of the GMR and we didn’t want to wait forever for once last ride through. Lucky for us there was morning EMH at studios this morning. But before we hit the road we grabbed a quick breakfast.
We were on a bus by 7:30 and off to studios. Once arriving we knew the first thing we had to do was get in line for the GMR but as we walked down hollywood boulevard we noticed the signs they had for the closing at the photo pass photo ops. So of course we had to stop.

It was only a little after 8 and the line was already wrapping around in the outside queue
The wait time was set at 40 minutes and we know it will only get longer as the day goes on. We ended up only waiting 20 minutes, but those 20 minutes seemed long when we had a lady behind us complaining about everything, her main thing was how she was done with going to Magic kingdom for the rest of her trip. Good for you girl!
Here’s to one last ride through the movies…We’re rolling!
Thanks Disney for showcasing one of my favorite movies of all time
I feel like every time I ride this I always get the gangster scene although I am grateful to have gotten the bank scene at least a few times in my life. Erin was unaware that there were 2 different scenes, but it doesn’t matter now and she will never experience the bank going up in flames.
Mr pot on head munchkin I’m going to miss you the most.
And just like that we came to the end, its been real GMR.
We headed over to RNR next because we didn’t have fp for it today and we had about 20 minutes before the park opened to everyone.
We had some time to kill before we had to head over to toy story so we moseyed our way around the shops on sunset boulevard. There I found the best tsum tsums ever! However I still don’t understand the hype for these or what you even do with them.
And now they have these weird disney emoji things
As we headed to the pixar studio we noticed people starting to line up for the star wars march. We’re not at any means Star wars fans but we joined the crowd to watch Phasma and her crew march down Hollywood boulevard.
The citizens of hollywood were out and about entertaining the crowd before the march.
We didn’t stay till the end and left before the crowds dispersed. I was ready to “keep shooting buckaroo!” So off we went to TSM
I get very competitive when it comes to this game. But that doesn’t stop me from shouting out the dialog
“I’m not your mother, BREAK THOSE PLATES!”
“Keep shooting buckaroo, ITS THE LAST GAME!”
Better luck next time Erin!
While everyone is super excited for Star Wars land I’m over here waiting for Toy Story land and I’m really hoping it’s as cute as Disneyland Paris’
