Great fun reviews! My DH and I are leaving the 3 kids behind for 6 nights, and I booked a ton of ADR's so I'm gonna splurge and get the Deluxe Dining Plan too!
Nice review of Le Cellier. Here's my take on the restaurant, it's good. I've never had a bad meal there, but there are plenty of other places that I like better than Le Cellier, so I don't understand it's popularity and refuse to get up early to snag an ADR. So there
...Although I haven't had that Cheddar Cheese Soup in ages...hmmmmm....
Oh, and I hope you had the Lobster Bisque at Chefs de France, it's my favorite Disney soup!
Sweet on Le Cellier, it is our last ressie of our trip. We have a late ressie on March 20th. You are welcome to come join us if you want. Just make sure you stick to your word of no talking..
You know...cannot guarantee that now, especially after the eye-roll!
My question is this, how long were you there from the time you arrived to the time you left. I need to know how long it took you to get your food, I wanna make sure we catch Illuminations.
Glad you enjoyed Le Cellier since we have a dinner ADR there for our June trip! I've been there once before but I was probably around 10 yrs. old and that was before I liked steakI know, crazy right?
I feel really fortunate that we got an actual dinner ADR there since so many people seem to have a lot of trouble getting one!
p.s. I am DEFINITELY getting the cheddar soup. I love cheese, I love soup, no brainer!
I'm so glad you enjoyed Le Cellier. You ordered everything I love there. The soup is great. I have a WDW cookbook and the recipe for it is in there. We made it one year for Christmas and it was good!
I also love the filet mignon. We are eating there for lunch this trip too!
With our trip being in May, I still have time to change a few of our ADRs around if something sounds too good to pass up! With so many options though, I can't decide yet! Breakfast is by far the hardest decision for me, as I want to try them all (and also need to sleep at least a little on the trip, so getting up early and riding the shuttle to all the various locations may not happen)! We're staying at Boardwalk, and I feel certain we'll be branching out...Kona Perhaps! 1900 PF is my top pick as of now, however.
You are TOOO cute! Love your posts so far!
WOw LOVING The reviews! Your so spunky and fun! DH and I will be trying Tonys and Narcossee for the first time in Sept on our 2 yr Anniversary tip, I cant wait. Plus we always go Le Cellier its our fave.
I kinda knew Narcossee would be great for anniversary but now I know for sure..and honey I LOVE spagahetti and meatballs and I think thats what Im getting at Tonys its either that or the chicken parm..
Great Review....... I LOVE Narcoosees although shame on youfor giving away the wishes secret...... we did that last sept. boy were the kids impressed..... I wish I could remember if the whole lobster was on the menu for free dining......
Joining in...A little bit late but you know how its goes!!!
thanks for the review for Le Cellier. We will be having Lunch there in just over a week.
Fantastic review of Le Cellier, I plan on ordering the same thing for our first dining experience there in May!
Glad you enjoyed LeCellier. We've eaten there several and have had wonderful and not so wonderful meals there; same with the service..but when it's good, it's very, very good.
Loving your reviews so far! Thanks for the recipe for the soup at AP. I could have eaten a vat of it!
Had to do some catching up! Looks like you've had some fine dining since I've been gone!
We like Tony's too...nothing over the top, but has never let us down. I love calamari too, but next time try the tomato/mozzerella salad...since you're fond of cheese...you'll love this!
Yes, another app I was debating between! DH HATES when i order salads! He says it's such a waste but I completely disagree!
We have an ADR for Narcossee's in June, so thanks for the head's up on the Surf n Turf! What a let down! I would've definitely ordered that as well, so now I'll have to convince DH to get the Maine lobster and I'll get the filet!
LeCellier looks delish too! I think it's probably a hot spot because it's a 1 TS steakhouse...who knows? The soup looks worth the hype!
Nice job! You have me following in your footsteps for many of my ADRs since your reviews are so wonderful! Now that you've provided Le Cellier I am sooooo glad that we scored this dinner ressie.
You have now become my cheapest form of entertainment! (Not that you are cheap.. you know what I mean!)
Love your LC review, that Maple Brulee looks soooooo good and I am thinking that one of us is going to have to try that soup.
Loving the phone box pics![]()
So loving your review!! We would get along great because I get all your jokes, quotes and "impressions" . Don't you hate when you quote a movie and the other person is just looking at you and then you have to explain the whole thing which just takes away from the funny..
You are too funny! I've been "LOL" a few times reading your reviews.
Thanks for the great report. Looking forward to more.![]()
Great fun reviews! My DH and I are leaving the 3 kids behind for 6 nights, and I booked a ton of ADR's so I'm gonna splurge and get the Deluxe Dining Plan too!
agree. I heard so many good things about the Tonga toast. we never wanted to "waste" a TS credit on breakfast.
rethinking, or maybe OOP.
thanks again!!! (and I agree, you are the cutest little thing!, as is your hubby. can hubby Nebo and I adopt you?)
And DH talking on the phone its the creeper from Hollywood Brown Derby he wasnt checking out my drink!.......Whats that DH???...he was checking you out???!!!![]()

Fabulous reviews. Your review "style" reminds me of MickeyNicki. Same sense of humor and TOTALLY entertaining. Can't wait for more.![]()
Great reviews!
Can't wait to hear about the Flying Fish. We loved it and we're going back this year.
Ohhh! I'm hungry!![]()
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your reviews!!! You have a terrific sense of humor, and I love the movie quotes...and by the way, I'm also a HUGE fan of "Family Guy"...that Kim Basinger quote totally cracked me up!Then, since you're writing all these great and funny dining reviews of these wonderful TS restaurants, I started to remember the "Family Guy" episode with Jennifer Love Hewitt...you know, the one where Peter Griffin was at the restaurant with her, went to use the restroom and didn't wash his hands, then proceeded to touch ALL of the bread in the basket..."Ooh, these look good...every one!"
OMGOSH!!! I DIE everytime I see that part!!! My brother and I do that whenever we go to a restaurant where they serve rolls...well we pretend to do it, not really do it, and everyone at the tables like, wth?? LOL! That means you'll get my next quote for Flying Fish!
But seriously, I am looking forward to reading the rest of your reviews! We're going to Le Cellier for the first time in July, but for dinner. But, I know myself and at a steakhouse I always get filet mignon! So I was glad to see your review about it! Keep those great entertaining reviews coming!
Great report. Can't wait to hear more.![]()
Awesome review. I'm so glad to read your food reviews and enjoying it. Can't wait to read more. We never tried Artist Point and loved your review.
This is making me hungry. I'm going to have to read the rest!
we have eaten at Narcosse's twice. both times I ordered the whole maine lobster..yummy! (although the 2nd time I was half through and noticed that the drwn butter did not have a sterno under it, so it got kinda cold)
the 1st time we were on the free dining plan, the second time we purchased it, and yes, the whole lobster was included on both !
we also love LeCellier.. love the soup and the breadsticks!!! I was tempted to order the veal T-bone, but numerous questions on this board about it went unanswered, so I stayed with the tried and true. (they used to have a very good bbq filet, but it went by the wayside)
I love that you took the time to compute the OOP cost.. how thoughtful of you!!!!![]()
great review, now I'm hungry!
Yuuuummmmyyy! Love both reviews, especially since both restaurants are MUST-DO's on our trip in December!
What a bummer about the lobster tail! I think that is just a SIN to ruin lobster, especially on a surf & turf plate. But, now I know to definately stick to the whole lobster in December! Since hubby wil probably be getting a steak and we always share, I can still do the surf & turf, but in a "safer" way.
Good thinking on your part!
Okay, so where is the Flying Fish review?????? I'm waiting!!!!
I am so loving your reviews. That Tonga Toast is making me crazy!!! I had it for the first time last summer and it is to die for! Can't wait to have it again in August!
Thanks for your review and pic of Narcoossees. We're going to try it as well!!!!![]()

thanks again!!! (and I agree, you are the cutest little thing!, as is your hubby. can hubby Nebo and I adopt you?)
I've made Tonga Toast at home from the recipe on allears.net but never had it at the Polynesian Resort. We may have to pay a visit either to Kona for breakfast (already going there for dinner one night!) or Captain Cook's! But making it at home is awesome! Of course, I can't compare it to the one at Disney because I never ate it there.
Love the reviews!
We came back on 2/12 and did Le Cellier for Dinner....it was fabulous! I asked DH how is meal was and he just grunted at me!
Bummer, I just found your review and the early pics aren't visible because of @&#$%!#@ photobucket exceeded bandwith.
Sometimes photobucket is a PITA!
Hey, were were there the exact same time!

Doesn't he have the most perfect look on his face for that though??!! Lol!!
This review of Le Cellier is making me want to go back when we go in 2012. We haven't been back since 2007 and I am so bummed I missed it back in December.
Great job once again, chickie!!!! Can't wait for Flying Fish!!! WOOT!!! Have never been there before, but if I am a betting woman, I would put my money on the fact that I am so going to want to visit it on my next trip. Hot dang! (Again, keeping it 'G' rated for the kids at home!) I am so going to want to put my family on the DxDDP when I am done reading this Food Porn report! You go girl!!
