It's funny how much your DH likes Yuengling! We live in PA not too far from where it's made...at america's oldest brewery! My next door neighbor sits on his deck and drinks it all summer I don't know how he doesn't get sick of it!

It's actually mostly ME that Yuengling!!

I'm orginially from PA too. I just looked up where the factory is and I spelled Yuengling right without even checking Looks like it's about 1.5hrs from York.

Just read through the whole thread..I'm adding Kona and Artist's Pointe to my list for next trip. We would like to go to Narcoossee's again too; we ate there when my daughter got married in 2005. Brown Derby is one of our favorites, and we usually eat there every trip. You can add us to the list of Tony's fans..we've eaten lunch there several times and have always enjoyed it.
Can't imagine how much weight I'd gain on the DxDDP..think I'm putting on poundage just reading this report.

I know right?? I've subconsiously been working out more lately...up'd my cardio to an hour now! Perhaps my DiningTR has made me feel guilty!

Another food porn update WOOT WOOT!!!

1.) Cheese freak...yeah, I know the feeling. Had the cheese plate at Chefs de France and let's just say, I fell in love with a very smelly goat cheese that I had to fight DH over (Lesson Learned: Get two cheese plates).

Omgosh!!! I LOVE their cheese plate as well!!

2.) Picture of Almond Crusted Cheesecake...cue some Barry White...oh yeah... I am dying here! I so want the cheesecake!!!

Barry White is very appropriate right now..

3.) Mental note: Take advice, go for the whole Maine lobster...check, check. Narcoossee's is on our list for our next trip.

My bestest friend in the whole world is iranan so I have learned a little hear and there. I am loving your trip report. Your too funny! We are going to narcoosees in June and was totally planning on ordering the surf and turf. What if I get the whole maine lobster and it taste like yours? Yikes I will have nothing to eat! What to do!

If that's the case then Narcoossee's has some SERIOUS issues that they have to work out!! But see even our waiter recommended the Whole Maine over the Surf and Turf, so he definitely knew something that I didn't know!

Just like you I haven't read much about it but loved the variety on the menu. We are Narcoossee fans too. I am getting excited thinking we can almost start our trip count down.

Now my concern for a whole lobster would be if they can feck up a tail whats to say they won't feck up my whole lobster and when I have ordered that I don't even have the nice meat eat as a replacement.

Everything looked great what you ordered, although I will bear in mind your views on the surf and turf. For someone that has never had lobster before would you still recommend getting the Maine Lobster? Love the pic of DH eating the muscles, priceless pics

Lobster is a 'no joke dish'....it's so delictable it's crazy!!! If you like seafood, you'll fall in love with lobster!!

Oh I'm more than positive that Narcoossee's has some FABULOUS non-seafood courses!! But then again, AP is outstanding!! I'm afraid I have caused yet, another dilemma for a Diser!

Hiya Bobble!!! Seriously I wanted to love it soooo bad, but I can't lie to you guys! The filet was awesome but that lobster tail killed it!! I know total shocker!!!

DH wanted the Cheese plate also, so I was like, "Um, nope you're not getting that cuz i'm doing reviews on the DIS and I'm sure someone will not be pleased by this!!!"

But really though Narcoossee's it teriffic! You're gonna totally dig it!!

How do you pronounce this place anyway? It’s like on Family Guy….”How do you say it??? Kim Basinger, Bay-singer…Ba-sin-gggrrr!” Lol! Have no idea, but we all know what we’re referring to when we say Le Cellier…yes that restaurant located in Canada that’s all the controversy on the boards right now and has been for a LONG TIME!!

Lets start off with some pics of the gorgeous country!

And DH talking on the phone…it’s the creeper from Hollywood Brown Derby……he wasn’t checking out my drink!.......What’s that DH???...he was checking you out???!!!

We were lucky enough to score a lunch here on a Saturday at 11:45am! Yes!!!

Not much to the place, but I still dig it!

Our waiter was Bradley and he was teriffic! Talked about what kind of beers we liked, explained our love of Yuengling while he talked about our “West Coast” brew, which is Sierra Nevada by the way. He said we should try the Moosehead Ale so we took two (2@4.75)

So if you’re at all familiar with the Dining boards, you’ll know exactly what to order without glancing at a menu…am I right people??

-Cheddar Cheese soup
-Mushroom Filet mignon
-The “Moose” or Crème Brulee

So lets see how me and the old guy did!

The Appetizers:
Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup – made with Moosehead beer and bacon (2 @ 6.99)

Okay…so far 1 for 3…

Okay, HELLO, what have I been saying about the soups at Disney??? They NAILED this one! Good lawd that’s yummy!!! Hey see those breadsticks?? Go ahead and dip it…I dare you!!

DISer’s were right on with this App! Every single person has suggested the soup, and not once have I read a review with anything other than the cheddar soup! I vote for the Soup ya’ll!

The Entrees:

Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon – with wild mushroom risotto, white truffle and herb butter sauce ~ (2 @ 25.99)

2 outta 3!!!

Yes, I know it’s only 12:30 and I’m having Filet Mignon for lunch, but I don’t give a rats behind what time it is! I’m hungry and this is supposed to be THE dish here….so…that’s that!

Delish folks! Huge fan of risotto right here and that sauce is perfection with the filet! You can’t really tell from the angle of the picture, but it was one fat filet, and it was wonderfully juicy! DH devoured his filet in no time! UGH, can someone please let me come with them to Le Cellier if you’re going anytime soon??? I won’t talk, I’ll just eat quietly with a few “mmmm’s and sighs” during my eat fest…

The Desserts:

Let’s see what we got…I’m gonna keep you in suspense…no really I do cuz I’m waiting for my stupid pics to upload…(Cue Jeopardy music)…hold on have you ever seen the Jeopardy on SNL with Will Farrell as the host and Jimmy Fallon as French Stuart…”Pick any number, any number at all, how bout a 1 a 2, or maybe a 3, I know you can do this…let’s go to French Stuart, who’s grinning over here like an idiot. And you’ve answered…threeve…a combination of three and five…and you wagered…Texas with a dollar sign…I’m speechless..”

3/3 EVERYONE!!!!

Maple Crème Brulee ~ 6.99

Yeah, one stinking dessert! But that steak was just so filling there was no way we were gonna finish two desserts! And it was very hard folks…between the marvelous “moose” and the beloved brulee, but brulee wins me over everytime!

Not much too this dish, but it was great…a little too maple-y I think, but if you’re a fan of maple, you’ll adore this dish! But that doesn’t mean it deterred me from eating the whole thing!

For those using the Deluxe Dining Plan, they take 1 credit per person because it’s a Table Service restaurant, so it’s 2 credits total.

For those paying OOP, here was our total with 2 alcoholic beverages, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 1 desserts, and tax: $87.81

So the controversy over this place is, what now? Is it the price of the meal? Or the steak being overrated? I’m not sure and I honestly don’t care. For us, we enjoyed the place, the service, the food, and the company, and we WILL be making ADR’s for Le Cellier on our next trip. I did not encounter one bad thing with this place, and still have no idea why this restaurant gets low blows, but I loved it!

So ultimately, your palate and your wallet is the determining factor, which means you should check this place out and decide for yourself! I’m all for Le Cellier!!!
