You all are such a great resource Thanks in advance! also, sorry in advance!
This seems straightforward, but I am so much more concerned with trying to arrange transportation then ever before.
some details---
we are off site this trip
We are dinning very late at Kona 2130
Our last party member arrives at MCO 2220
I was planning to send an uber to bring her to meet us as we finish dinner.
We will then all be together at poly the rest of us done dinner and load in van to go to off site house.

It seems like a good path--- but honestly all the security and turning people away etc. has me worried. ( I guess I could wait at guard shack and grab her if they refuse)
IDK- its just more difficult then in the past!
I certainly do not want to send her to us and cause a misstep!
Why does this seem harder? IDK

Give them the adr number. Worst case scenario they can be dropped a the ttc which is right next to the Poly.

I agree with above - if she has the ADR confirmation number and the name of the primary guest (the person listed in MDE as managing the ADR), there shouldn’t be a problem. The hour being so late by the time she arrives means that being turned away is much less likely (she obviously isn’t trying to use the Poly as a park access point).

Not certain… but “sending an Uber “ might not work.
I thought the person being picked up had to actually make the reservation on personal cellphone for tracking (pick up location , etc… Otherwise , the driver might not find you…
Just want to be sure this works for your plans .
I admit I am not Uber/ Lyft user.
Would appreciate if you let me know just in case I ever need to know!
You’re right it is all confusing .

Thank you all. I know uber app does allow me to add a rider with adding their contact information. the passenger will get a text from driver. I however have not tried this feature yet! When we return, I will try to remember to update how it went.

You can definitely call an Uber for another person as long as you have their phone number. Not to be crass but lot's of people who are doing "booty calls" or the "walk of shame" get these all the time.

We were allowed in with an Uber a couple weeks ago without an ADR. It was earlier in the day. The driver just told the guard he was dropping off. He let us in. The Uber driver did say that it works about 50% of the time.
