My kids are 11,9 and 8 and love all types of rides and afraid of nothing. Which water park do you recommend? We leave two weeks from today!!

I usually say BB but with the new ride opening at TL, you may want to give that a try.

Typhoon Lagoon has an awesome wave pool but the slides are lame.

Blizzard Beach has lots of great slides, but no big giant wave like TL.

Both are lots of fun.

They will love the Ski Patrol Training Area, the fast slides, the family raft ride is great and the entire theming is fun ! Maybe with the drawl of the new slide at TL............BB will be less crowded :cool1: :cool1:

Which park do you think would be good for a 7 & 4 yr old??? Trying to decide if we should fit one of these parks into our stay too.....

Doodlebug - I still say BB. The kiddie area has some fun slides in it for your 4 year old, is set apart and very expansive (TL was a late addition and alittle chaotic for me). They will love the Ski Patrol area, it is really cool. It is for the elementary age set of kids. The cartoon theming is lots of fun. Both parks have lazy rivers. The plus for BB is the giant wave pool is so much more calm than TL. I was at TL with a 4 year old and he got beat down - just felt unsafe and so he missed out.

Thank you very much for the suggestion... Sounds like fun and might try to squeeze a day in at BB!! :cool1:

we're planning on Typhoon Lagoon for the wave pool & lazy river
Neither DS nor myself care for the large waterslides

I took my two little boys almost 2 years ago to both and they preferred BB. That is where we will be going again this year.

We haven't been to either, but are planning to go to TL because of the opportunity for the kids to swim with the sharks. It is closing for refurb the day after we arrive, so we are going to hightail from the airport straight to TL, and check in at the hotel after supper. Given that we will be up early for our flight, an afternoon swimming should tire everyone out so we can have an early night, and be rested for our first full day at the parks!
