If there is a "Sticky" I missed in regards to this info, please let me know, I did look:eek:

I was wondering if anyone can help me with doing Typhoon Lagoon in an ECV?This will be a first. I a planning on renting the umbrellas ( since I can't hang for long on the sun) where do I park my EVC if I use this area? (I assume it's sand)

I have read that some rides have elevators? Which ones, beacuse i am not doing any crazy rides! Do I ride my EVC up or wheelchair or could I stand and leave my EVC down below?

Is it easy to get around in my EVC to what rides or attractions I can actually do?

Thanks for any and all info, I am a bit apprehensive about this.

First of all, the only attraction with an elevator is Crush 'N Gusher. I've never ridden it so I don't know if the ECV would be allowed in the elevator, and how would it be retrieved at the bottom.

You do not want to drive an ECV on sand. It will get stuck, as well as potentially damaging the bearings.

Other than the Lazy River and the Lagoon itself (and Crush), all other attractions have stairs as the only method of access.

There are a lot of paved pathways, and an ECV can be taken onto grass (but not too well).

We do have people come into TL with ECVs, but really not many. And even though I work there, I am always up at the Gate area and don't go to either water park (last time as a Guest I went to Blizzard about ten years ago.

As Cheshire mentioned, the only ride with an elevator is Crush n Gusher. It is a WILD ride...I think it's actually called a "water coaster" and it is not for the faint of heart. Unfortunately all the other slides have stairs.

That being said, the lazy river is quite beautiful and very relaxing.

and even for someone who is in fairly decent shape like I am, I find the stairs very hard on my 44 year old knees. You just cannot get onto a slide without hiking up a ton of stairs.

There are only so many times you can go around the lazy river though...

Ok:thumbsup2 no Crush N Gusher for me or any other water slides.

I know that I can't drive the ECV in the sand, what I was asking that if I am sitting on a chair in the sand, is there a place that I could park the scooter, yet still have access to my meds and such? I assume parking it on a walkway is not going to work, is there a designated area of sorts?

All other areas are paved, that is good to know.

Thanks so much (Cheshire) and everyone else for the help. I hope (Cheshire) I get to meet you, you are always so helpful and kind on these boards!:goodvibes
