We're going to Typhoon Lagoon a week from Wednesday (I just LOVE saying that :rotfl2: ) for the first time with our DD who is almost 2. I know you have to be under 48" to enjoy the children's area - and logically children have to be accompanied by an adult. My question is am I only going to be able to "supervise" DD or will I be able to get in there and PLAY with her?? Besides the lazy river, childrens area, and the wave pool (VERY closely supervised) is there anything else she will be able to enjoy??

Thanks!!
Amanda

There is a family raft ride. If your DD2 is brave, then its doable. Is she a young 2 or an old 2? We took our DD on when she was 2 and she "liked" it, but she liked it a LOT more when she was 3.

She'll be 23 months so she is ALMOST 2. She loves water so the family ride may be doable....but I really think she'll enjoy the kiddie area. But will I be able to play with her - or just watch her?? Anyone know??

You can definitely play with her. You may or may not be able to go down the kiddie slides with her. Sometimes the CMs say no and sometimes they don't seem to care. :confused3

Well she loves the playground slides so depending on the type of slide - steepness - etc she will be more than happy to go down by herself. And depending on they type I'll be okay with her going down by herself.
