Hello there! I'm planning our two son's first trip to Disney. My oldest son will be 1 month shy of 3 and my youngest will be 15 months. I'm so excited to be taking our toddlers, and a little nervous. :) Here's what I've got planned so far:

We are staying at Coronado Springs Resort December 9-15th. We will be driving down (eek, I think I'm most nervous about 10+ hours in the car).

We've got a 7 day Park Hopper Pass and our schedule looks like this:

Sunday 12/9 check in
Garden Grill for dinner, then to DHS to check out the Osborne lights (EMH)
Monday 12/10
AM Animal Kingdom (EMH)
PM EPCOT dinner Le Cellier
Tuesday 12/11
AM Epcot (EMH)
PM Magic Kingdom MVMCP
Wednesday 12/12
AM & PM Magic Kingdom *Update First Haircut at Harmony Barber Shop
Dinner Ohana
Thursday 12/13
AM DTD lunch at Raglan Road
PM DHS
Friday 12/14
AM Magic Kingdom Breakfast at Crystal Palace 8:10am :)
PM EPCOT (EMH)
Saturday which ever we choose to hit again

We are planning on going to the room for naps everyday to try to keep the boys rested. I'm not sure about my younger son (he's 11 months now) but my older son tolerates staying up late and naptime deviations very well. My parents will also be joining us which will give us a little more flexibility if my younger soon needs to call it quits earlier than my older son.

Here's the t-shirts I made:

I'm planning on making Passports, goody bags, activity books, and a few other treats along the way and will post pictures of those items. As well as our touring plans for toddler friendly rides. I hope someone enjoys our pre-trip planning.

I'm subbing! We have a 10 (at least) hour drive with a 5 yo and a 1yo, so I am feeling your pain!!!! We'll be there the week before you, though. Where are you driving from?

Hi! Good luck on the car ride - that would make me nervous too!! Your kids seem to be in the same age range as mine. My daughter at 13 months and at 2 years tolerated the screwy nap schedule in WDW. I think as long as you give them the time to relax and unwind they will go with the flow...

I can't wait to see your activity books, passports etc.... I want to do something like that for my girls. I have yet to figure out what that might be though... Maybe you will have some ideas I can borrow!:p

Also you ADR's look great!

Hello! Thanks for posting, I'm planning on starting on my passports soon. I just finished most of the shirts I'm going to do. I'm going to try to do at least one more for DS2.

I'm definitely going to check out your pre-trip report, its nice seeing what others are doing with their little ones.

My youngest DH, I had to make sure the designs would fit on his little shirts (so cute).

Subbing in from the December roll call thread.

Those t-shirts are really cool. Something your boys are going to wear until they out-grow them or they are turned into tatters (whichever comes 1st).

And what time is you ADR on your arrival day? We might bump into each other. We have a 4pm ADR at Garden Grill, that day, as part of the Candlelight Processional dining pkg.

Can't wait to read more.

Joining in! We are going the same exact week. I am bringing my (then) 26month old to Disney for the first time. Will be fun to see your ideas and such on here! :thumbsup2

Ok I love the shirts!! How did you print them? I really want to get some matching shirts for my girls. In the past it has helped me keep an eye on both at the same time.

For the car ride do you have a dvd player? They work wonders at times :) Plus you could get some DVD's that are Disney related to get them excited, the planning ones, favorite Disney movies and we have sing a long ones that have the costume characters in it that my girls love.

Joining aboard! We'll be driving as well - from SC (about 35m from the NC line). 9hrs w/o stops, about 10-10.5 with stops!

Google Maps says 10 hours for us. I'm going to plan for 12 and hope we can stay on course without any major mishaps! lol

I think its at 5:40pm, I didn't want to do too early with us having such a long drive.

I just used iron on transfers for dark colors, I read the dark color transfers were better to use. Then I just printed out the images and ironed them on. It was super easy.

No, we do not have a DVD player, my husband is adamantly against it but I don't see the problem for long trips like this. I agree with him that it doesn't need to be used every time we get in the car but 10+ hours is a little different. And like you said Disney movies are a must. :) Maybe I could pick one up cheap around Thanksgiving.

We live in the middle of nowhere- when it takes 2-3 hrs one way - its super helpful. We canceled our cable years ago and think its not so bad especially since we can really manage the content. We actually purchased it for our flights to WDW and it was worth every penny ;) Hoping to move farther south and skip flying!

I'm going to have to try the iron on transfers. Where do you get them?

I got those from AC Moore or Michael's with a coupon. 10 transfer pages in a pack, after I already printed about 5 I figured out how to put multiple prints on one page, so I will be better prepared for the next package.

We don't have cable either, we do get PBS through an antenna. So he only watches movies or that. I think over the lifetime of having a portable DVD player it will definitely be beneficial (I'll keep working on my husband). My husband's family is in MA, and we have to travel 1.5 hours one way to the closest Whole Foods so we do a fair amount of traveling.

My boys. Wyatt has been getting special rewards with trading pins, he has three so far. Evan will get his lanyard on the trip, they are both the breakaway lanyards for safety.

My first attempt at a crayon carrying case, Wyatt loves the Muppets and Mickey Mouse but the Muppets fabric was cheaper so I decided to practice on it. I learned a few things to make it more presentable next time but it did not take very long. So when the Mickey Mouse fabric goes on sale, I'll be doing one in that fabric as well.

They are cuties! :) The crayon organizer looks great- I wish I had patience/skill to sew.... I can barely sew on a button.

I love pin trading! It's such an awesome way to interact with the cast members!
