Two Quick Questions!

We're going to leave on Saturday for our trip, so here are a couple of last minute questions!

1) I'm pretty sure there is, but I'm just making sure. Is there Disney transportation (specifically buses) from the theme parks to DTD (specifically MGM to DTD)?

2) How late do the boats run between DTD and OKW?

The buses do not run from the parks to DTD. You'll need to get the bus at one of the resorts to get to DTD. They did this to stop people from parking at DTD for free and taking the bus to the parks.

I'm not sure about your second question, but I'm sure someone will be along to answer you.

Thank ya very much! I was looking at the allearsnet website, and it said that boats back and forth from OKW to DTD run to 11 PM, so that answered my other question!

Don't busses run from the parks to DTD later in the day? I seem to remember this, but it was a little while ago (I usually don't take Disney transport).

Also, there is no longer bus service from the TTC to DTD. I found that out the hard way!

To get from the Studios to DTD you can boat or walk over to any of the Epcot resorts (Boardwalk, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan and Dolphin) and get a bus from there.
As the previous poster noted, Disney stopped the buses from DTD to the theme parks because people were parking at DTD for free and going on to the theme parks. This took away a lot of parking spots for people who really wanted to shop and eat at DTD.

Busses don't go between the parks and DTD at any time anymore. Too many people were abusing the parking system so they stopped that option. For MK, MGM and Epcot, it is easy enough to get to a resort to go to DTD but AK is more difficult.

Some times during the year the boats don't run quite that late. They usually have the hours posted at the boat landing, with a "last boat" notation.
