I noticed the planes AirTran flies out of LEX are smaller planes than SW flies. We usually fly out of Louisville or Indy, mostly on SW, once on AirTran. The last time we flew back to SDF from MCO, the turbulence was horrible. I was nauseous. It seems that each flight up to that one had progressively worse turbulence. That time I thought that if I got off that plane, I wouldn't get on another one. My DSis and I used to take a four day girls' trip once a year and my DH and I would go once a year.
My DSis and I haven't flown since that trip with the terrible turbulence. My DH and I have driven twice since then. My question is, is the turbulence worse on a smaller plane than the larger SW planes? My DSis is talking a trip but I just am afraid I can't get on a plane again.

It might have taken 30 minutes to park, walk to the terminal, check one bag and get our boarding passes at the Allegiant counter, and go through security. If we knew what we know now, we wouldn't have stopped for crappy fast food on the way and eaten at DeSha's in the airport. Lord knows the food would have been better and we had plenty of time.

hmmm. Obviously, I haven't given this enough thought ...
