Two one way rentals??

We are flying into tampa and staying in orlando but not on site... I saw on another thread saying it is cheaper to do two one way rentals... What does that mean? How does that work?

Assuming your Orlando hotel provides satisfactory or better transportation to and from the parks:

Rent a car in Tampa.

Check into your Orlando hotel.

Return the rental car to a prearranged location within 24 hours after you picked it up.

Get transportation back to your hotel.

Enjoy your vacation.

Get prearranged transportation to the car rental location less than 24 hours before you expect to return it.

On departure day, drive to Tampa.

Return rental car.

Fly home.
