Oko, I don't really think anyone's reading this, but I promised I would catch up tonight, SOOOO....
After we visited with Gideon, Mr. Trollop began to rapidly fade into the distance. At least the man's consistent. Two things I knew he would always do: walk way ahead of us and fall asleep in any attraction longer than 2 minutes. I like the predictability. The plan had been Space Mountain and Mr. Trollop seemed to be drifting toward Tomorrowland, so, to borrow a term from a goog friend,

off our merry trio went.
Mr. Trollop was of course designated fastpass retriever. Elisabeth was just standing in the sun waiting for him to get done.
"aren't you ridiculously hot???" I asked her.
"no, I'm fine, quit your whining" was her reply. (and I also got a "look")
"I'll be over THERE if you need me,"

I said and pointed to a bench in the
SHADE because it was Florida in August, any sane person would be sitting in the shade. I was just sitting there enjoying the brief respite from the heat when whaddayaknow, there's Elisabeth sitting right next to me. See, I knew I was the smart one and she'd follow my lead eventually. Those babynurses can be stubborn. I think I rolled my eyes but goog at her.
So, we sat and waited. And waited. And waited a little more. Then I realized the potential flaw in the shade plan. We had told Mr. Trollop we would be waiting right where we had been standing in the sun and then we moved without telling him. Again, welcome to Disney in August, it was crowded. No problem, Elisabeth reassured me, he'll find us.
So, we sat and waited. And waited. And waited a little more. Then Elisabeth got up to find him just as he was walking over to us and he relayed the Brazillian happenings. Aaaaah...now we understood why it took so long! After working at Chef Mickey's and dealing with many large Brazillian tourist groups I have many comments I could make about these groups but if you can't say something nice.....
Since we had journeyed all the way to the MK in the blistering heat in the dead of the crowds of August, clearly it was time to ride something significant. Something worth babynurse and Mr. Trollop travelling across many states for. Something....like the Carousel of Progress.
I will admit that it didn't sound half bad and I'll also admit I rather enjoy this ride. From time to time. Just as we got into the nice cool theatre and sat down Mr. Trollop was out. I swear I was still setting my purse down and was hardly in my seat and I looked over...zzzzzz......
Oh, to be able to do that!
Don't let the babynurse fool you either, she was sound asleep. Know how I know? I whispered her name. Moms have this thing that they can be sort of asleep but if you whisper their name they wake up instantly. At least my mom does. I've tried it many times. My theory is sound. Anyway, I whispered "Elisabeth" and "trollop" and "babynurse" and even "hey you." Nothing. She was asleep. I, however, learned all about our great nation and the progress we have made throughout the years. I'm sure I'm a better citizen for it. When the lights came back on Mr. Trollop still didn't wake up. MR TROLLOP!!!!!! Yikes, the babynurse can be loud.

I think everyone in the theatre was looking at us at that point. Oh well, hotT college chicks like us are used to be stared at.
We dragged Mr. Sleepy out of the theatre and into the sunlight. It was mid-afternoon. It was hot. I think we were tired. Mr. Trollop was still half asleep. AND we had no agenda. So, we aimlessly wandered over to a bench where the conclusion was reached that we needed beverages. We headed to the nearest beverage station and got the drinks of choice. Then we just stood there and looked at each other. Actually, Mr. and Mrs. Trollop looked at me. I think they were wishing they knew someone who worked at Disney who could tell them what to do next.
I suggested the pool. They were receptive to this idea. BUT, the babynurse, always thinkin ahead brought up the valid point that I didn't have a swimsuit. Little did she know. Never underestimate a PJ.
I really don't always have a swimsuit with me in Cincinnati.
We briefly discussed whether it was lame to travel all the way from MGM to the Magic Kingdom just to ride the CoP. I decided that it was in fact not a lame trip because we got to see Gideon and that was pretty cool. I would have made a special trip to the MK just for that. So, once we justified our actions it was time to get outta there.
My typing fingers are getting tired....
