I've been getting several texts from Meg already! They made it! Arrived at POP! at 11:11am and were getting checked in...their room was ready! 70s Prefered! Just what they requested!

Today is 29 days for us! We hit the 20's
(though my ticker says 1 month I'm guessing they consider our departure day an actual day in the countdown...and day one for me is the day before, the 12th)

My ticker is a day off too. It says 3 days. I really have 4

I got a text from Meg around noon saying they just had lunch at Pop and she also sent me a picture of Everest

It doesn't matter if you are a three year old excited to see Tiana, a 20-something loving the thrill rides, a 30-something surprising your kids with a birthday trip, or an old lady schoolteacher snapping pictures of store windows...the common bond is the love of the magic that it brings to all of our families in so many different ways.

Or a 16 year old who loves the rides, the shows, the food, and EVERYTHING!

There are a couple of guys in my marketing class that use either cologne or really weird hair gel.....and they smell like Soarin'....usually the ocean scene and the pine forest scene....it's really weird sitting behind them mornings, I tend to get distracted


Meg Update!

They had dinner at Rose & Crown last night and thought it was awesome! They were hitting up a few rides then heading to POP! before Illuminations got over. Today is supposed to be DHS and MK...I haven't gotten any texts yet, so I'm not sure if they are taking it easy today or if she thinks I'm still sleeping I'll try to update later if I hear from her.

We're here!!!!

We went to Animal Kingdom and Epcot yesterday. It was raining pretty hard while we were at AK, so it was basically empty. We got to ride Dinosaur with only a 20 minute wait, and when we trekked back to Asia, Everest was a walk-on! My dad, Kailyn, and I rode it twice in a row. It was raining so hard that by the time we left, my sneakers were soaked through and my khakis were completely drenched up just past my knees. The only dry parts of me were the parts covered by the poncho. I couldn't have cared less about it, because I was just so happy to be there!

We came back to the room and then went to Epcot. It had stopped raining so hard by then, so we didn't need the ponchos. We rode SSE and Test Track, then walked to England for our ADR at Rose and Crown. It was really, really, really good! Soarin' only had a posted 35 minute wait, so we rode that. It was amazing to ride it after having YouTubed it for so long. We couldn't make it until midnight, so we came back to the room and crashed early.

Today we're off to DHS (after breakfast), then we have an ADR at 4 PM at 1900 Park Fare! I am so excited for this. After 1900 PF, we're finally going to see the castle.

Christine, I am so glad I was able to get a decent picture of EE to send you -- I can't wait for us to ride it together!! Katie, thank you for doing all those updates for me

So KTTK was today! They had fun on that! They are headed back to the hotel for naps....they have an 8:50 ADR at Tony's, but they aren't sure if they are keeping it...MK is open til 3am tonight, so they are hoping to make it til then. Meg said she has a serious need to go shopping, so she and her mom might be hitting up DHS and DTD tomorrow

Meg said she was going to text Trent earlier to see what was up...I'm not sure if they did or not, and I really don't want to text her and wake them up...Kailyn wasn't feeling 100% after the tour, which had Meg really anxious...but she's hoping its just from being tired out by the tour...


There is now talk that Ann and Sloane (Patrick's mom and sister) might go to Disney the Tuesday or Wednesday before we do and stay for a week, so their trip would overlap ours by a couple of days....

We have started looking at dates/airfare for October now! Since I made all the blankets for GAD we are planning on using our vouchers to renew our AP's in October...which means that we have to go down there to do it and we would be there during F&W and MNSSHP again...darn

(There was also a talk involving a possible May trip right after my bday/graduation since airfare is cheap, the AP discount is on for then, and we have AP's....keep your fingers crossed everyone!)

KATIE! I am so jealous!

1900 PF last night was SO much fun! The characters were a lot of fun and the food was really, really good. When my mom took the picture of Kailyn, Lady Tremaine, and I, she said, "oh, beautiful" afterwards and Lady Tremaine said, very snootily, "yes, I know I am." She also turned and pointed to the little boy sitting at the table next to us and said, "stop crying." I think I got like four bowls of the strawberry soup. I was really excited to see the GF in person. My dad, Kailyn, and I headed to MK after, and I managed to watch Spectro! Dad and Kailyn went to check out BTMRR and I found a spot right up at the rope where no one was standing. It is my very favorite Disney parade and I was so happy to see it. We'll hopefully catch the 11:00 parade tonight.

We're still at Pop, just getting ready to head out to MK. I slept for maybe two hours and then woke up and couldn't go back to sleep for anything, which was so irritating. Guess I'll have to get lots of diet Coke refills at the Pop food court.

As Katie said, I texted her to tell her that I am having shopping withdrawals, because the last time I went shopping was on our first day here, when I got a tank top and 2 Vinylmations from the EE gift shop. We briefly browsed the Villians in Vogue store at DHS last night, but only briefly. THE HORROR! I channeled my inner MeMom yesterday at the Villians in Vogue store by taking pictures of some things that I really, really wanted to buy (Jack Skellington shirts), but didn't. Since my mom likes shopping and, like me, loves Epcot, she and I are going to hit DTD and Epcot tomorrow for some shopping. Not surprisingly, my dad said he'd pass, and I'm not sure what Kailyn will want to do. She is better, by the way. When we got back to Pop, she had some pizza and even a big honking cinammon roll. She and my dad just went to the food court to get some food, so I'm taking that as a good sign.

We're leaving for MK in a little while. Lets hope I make it the whole night Have a good night, everyone!

I channeled my inner MeMom yesterday at the Villians in Vogue store by taking pictures of some things that I really, really wanted to buy (Jack Skellington shirts), but didn't.

It really does help just to take the pictures. It gives you a chance to think a little while about if you really want to spend the money.

They made it til 3am! Which also means that today was a later start for them Meg and her mom are at Chef's right now getting ready for lunch. Kailyn had a sore throat this morning and she didn't feel like going to EPCOT, so she and her dad have gone to DHS. Meg and her mom are heading to DTD later to hit up Goofy's and do some shopping.

Shopping was very successful -- I got a good amount of stuff, including some things for Charles and Katie. I got Charles a couple of Domo-kun things in the Japan store at Epcot. I got Katie...oh, darn, I can't tell you what I got Katie...

I'm not sure what we're doing today, because it's up to Kailyn -- we are celebrating her 17th birthday today!
