Two adrs in one day.. Thoughts?

I have 2 ADRs on most days. I was wondering if I was overscheduling us with ADRs. Here's how I have mine as of now:

Day #1 - AK -none
#2 - EP - 2 ADRs Lunch & Dinner (L&D)
#3 - MK - 2 ADRs L&D
#4 - day off to relax
#5 - HS - 2 ADR's L&D
#6 - MK - 1 ADR D

I don't know if that will be too much on the park days, but I am using them to relax and have character interaction, as I am only scheduling 2-3 character meet & greets in our whole week. We are staying at ASMv and getting back to the resort for a nap will not be easy and I can see us being "too tired" to get going again at night once we got back to the room. We don't like breakfast enough to include that in our TS plans, but I did allow 5 to 6 hours approx. between our L & D times.

I think it looks fine! While we usually stick to 1-2 a day each trip now, there have been trips where we have done 3 in a day and just kept in mind not to fill up at any of them, knowing we'd be eating at another later. Especially since yours are pretty far apart.

I have 2 ADRs for every full day of our trip. We eat 2 meals per day at Disney, and I prefer them both to be table service meals, so we get good food, a chance to relax, and a guaranteed table.

Same here. On my last trip in 2014 we ate 2 meals every day and QS meals as a single mom are pretty difficult. First I had to stand in yet ANOTHER line to order with a fidgety, whiny, hungry kid. Then stand in line waiting for my food to be up, usually in cramped quarters with a kid who wants to be spinning and not standing still and is asking how much longer it is going to be and why is it taking so long? Then there is the tray balancing act with beverages and a kid who is now spinning because he is released from the corral of the line. Toppings bars are hell on earth when the kid just wants to sit down and eat and you want condiments and toppings or at a minimum some napkins and cutlery. Then I get to fight the crowds with tray with a beverage standing on it and a bottle of water rolling around on it, and spinning child trying to find a table that is clean and getting denied 2 or 3 times because it is a meal time and everyone else has the same bright idea of having lunch. Then I decide to just take a dirty table and set the tray down on the edge while I attempt to clean up someone else's mess with a little of my bottled water and the pile of napkins that I now will have to replace when my child invariable spills something somewhere, wondering if someone is going to arrest me if I leave my 6 year old sitting there while I go alone to get more napkins. Finally have clean table, sit down with hair all messy and red faced and flustered and try to relax and eat while watching people perform the same act around me thinking about the bullet I just dodged by setting my tray on the edge of the table while I cleaned it up.

Then there is the next day when you decide to eat at an off time and pretty much anything you are interested in at cosmic ray's is not available at that time of day so you eat something you don't really want because you're starving but have been waiting until a less busy time to eat. It may be cold and hard and dried out and the dregs of the counter service, but at least there are no crowds and the kid can watch Sonny Eclipse while he sips his overpriced specialty beverage that he is done with after 2 sips.

Give me 2 TS in a day any time. If one of them eliminates the need to wait to see characters, it is time and money well spent. Also when my kid put his milk down on the corner of a table that happened to be round and it "went poom" the fact that before I could even flag down my waiter it was cleaned up and replaced is pretty much worth gold for me. Oh yes, there will be 2TS a day and one of them will have characters! and I will sit and feed my child bread (or something lovely off the buffet that is ready and waiting for him to eat it) while the nice CM attends to all of my meal needs. Vacation!

We do 3 ADRs most days of our trip, so I see no problem what so ever with 2 ADRs in one day, especially since it's breakfast and dinner. You've gotta eat anyway, so why not enjoy some of the great TS options? We are 3 meals a day people at home, and I always say keeping your eating/sleeping pattern as close to home as possible is one key to a successful trip. Personally, QS drive me bonkers, so I try to avoid them. I love having lots of TS meals during my vacation, it adds to the overall enjoyment. Plus they are a fantastic way to build in breaks/cool down periods into your touring plan.

It's nice to hear from someone who does so many ADRs. I love when others reinforce my reasons for wanting to do 2 a day. We are not breakfast eaters, so it makes sense for us to skip that, but I scheduled them for sit-down breaks as well as to experience the characters and experience the unique dining options that WDW has to offer. I've never done a single TS before, so I've been nervous as to whether it was too much. I've also never been as a parent, either, and really wanted to include the sit down meals for us.

We are doing much the same as you CP breakfast (8:15 show) and then dinner at Via Napoli. Plenty of time between the two meals for a few grey goose slushies ;)
Epcot and resort area is fun to wander around throughout the day.

When we have deluxe dinning we usually do 2 ADRs a day - a mid day (11 or 12) 1 TS meal and then a later dinner at a Signature restaurant. I usually schedule our brunch/lunch at our daytime park or a nearby resort and our dinner at or near our evening/night park.
The TS food is so much better and the setting less chaotic than the QS options, IMO.

it's kind of all about priorities and attitude. If you are angry that you need to stop and eat at all and the longer it takes and the more expensive it is, the more miserable you are... well then 2 TS in a day is too much. If you see dining as part of your vacation and are looking forward to enjoying a lot of the destination dining at WDW and see it as value added and not park time taken away then no it is not too much at all, as long as you space your meals apart widely enough (my only caveat). I am doing mostly breakfasts and dinners with the occasional very late or very early lunch to fit it all in (replacing dinner or breakfast respectively). If you can scratch off just one character meet and greet which seems to be a minimum half hour between walking there, waiting in line and visiting with the characters, any character meal where you see 4 characters is not wasted park time since you'd have to eat anyway.

What can I say, when the princess is on vacation, she likes to be served. Buffets are alright too because someone is cooking and bussing tables. :)

We always do 2 ADRs a day due to food allergies. It's vacation, really do what you'd like. I think its nice after some time out in the heat to relax inside with a meal. Yes, they can take some time. We are used to it though. Oh, and we normally do lunch and dinner to maximize morning time in parks.

I usually only do one TS per day, but every now and then will do TS for both breakfast and dinner, with something light for lunch (or maybe just a snack). For me, two TS meals in a row (ie., breakfast/lunch or lunch/dinner) would be too much for me.
