yes, you need a full day at Epcot with 2 7yo kids - the park is huge and there is a ton to do. the generalization that Epcot is not a park for children is a bad one imo. One full day imo isn't even enough.
We were at epcot last June with DS7 & DS4. We had a BLAST!! Be sure to check out Innoventions, tons of fun stuff to do for your kid's ages! If you have a Disney Visa, check out the special meet & greet. No body mentioned the Coke station. My boys LOVED that, and they still talk about the different flavors, not to mention, it's free! The silly little rides throughout the world are great (and a bit educational). We got to hear the "Beatles" sing in England, tons of fun. Be sure to taste lots of snacks throughout the world! Add in all the other "usual stuff" your family can have lots of fun at Epcot, for us it's an all day park!!
When the girls were 5 we went to Epcot for 2-3 days during the 8 day trip. When they were 6 the same. We're going this week and they're 8 3 days. We all love Epcot. TT is their favorite ride they love Soarin. They love the countries. The food the characters this is the first trip that we'll do Kim Possible so we'll have plenty to do.
