I love all of Shyamalan's movies. I don't understand why people hated the Vllage and the Happening. I thought they were excellent. I think the Village is my favorite one of his. Its so psychological. (And you can't go wrong with Joaquin!)

I loved the village. I like the ones that make you think. and keep on guessing the whole time.

I love the Twilight books because of that. I just had to see where she was going with things.

I hope to catch up on this thread when i get my modem working again. No time to do it right now.

Love the "twilight baby" I have a couple of kids i could drop off at the set for a few hours. no problem. :rotfl:

I also agree Emmett with darker hair is far sexier than blonde. Makes him mysteriuos. he doesnt even have to say a word.

look jaspers going to be in a movie with Jesse McCartney

Thanks for the link. My DS's love that cartoon. My youngest DS loves to "snuggle bunny" with me while he watches it. Although I'll have to hide it from them until right before it was released. My DS's saw a movie poster for Transformers a year before it came out and they bugged me everyday until they saw it. I promised them they could see it the day it came out. I was so intent on keeping that promise (b/c I knew if I didn't I would catch heck for it) that we went to the movie eventhough I had just had a toe nail removed that the doctor's office.

I agree!! I love his movies. I would rather watch one likes his over a blood filled in your face horror any day. My DH on the other hand loves the Saw and Hostel movies. I refuse to watch them with him.

Rob smokes?? OK that's a deal breaker for me. I'll just have to stick with Jackson then. Unless he smokes as well and then I'll take Richard Armitage from the BBC show Robin Hood.

Yup. That I know of, mostly everyone in the cast, with the exception of Ashley, smoke

I know we've been kind of nitpicking the movie latley, so I thought I would ask a slightly different question: Is there anything they changed from the book to the movie that you liked a lot? Here is my list:

-I love that they're making lunch for her when she meets his family, and just the whole awkwardness of the experience. I also liked that Rosalie was there and you got to see a litle more of her personality that way.

-I like that Billy drives in the movie. Being in a wheelchair does not mean you cannot drive a car and that always kind of bugged me about the book.

-The whole Billy/Charlie relationship and the way they try to talk like the kids. (Just keeping it real.) I think it really added to both of their characters.

-It's not really a change, but one of my favorite moments is when Jasper and Alice hold hands in the Mercedes, even though it is two seconds long.

i just love charlie so much better in the movie then the book. he's perfect for the part. when he makes the halo over his head right before he officially meets edward cracks me up, and of course the pepper spray.

i can see why Billy doesn't drive, they are of very modest means, how would he get a car with hand controls?

one tiny thing i liked better in the movie over the book was they put bella in a sneaker, not a stiletto, for the prom. when i first read the book that really stuck out to me. i do wish that edward would have spun her around in a waltz like he does in the book.

did any one see on the news this morning that People magazine is confirming Dakota Fanning as Jane? The new caster said it Dakota she was offered the role and wants the role but it wasn't a done deal.

I agree..i really enjoyed the Village and also agree about Joaquin (minus the rapping lol)

Missed you gals. I haven't been on here in awhile. I confess I have cheated on our beloved SM. One small peak at Wide Awake a fanfic and I am hopelessly in love with it. Has anyone else read it? (CP maybe?)

For Travelmel: I am headed to your neck of the woods in April. Flying right to Portland. Then a two hour drive south. So close to Twilight locations yet so far. And only for a weekend. It is my grandmothers 80th birthday and I am the surprise. I hate to surprise an 80 year old, but my mom says it will be ok. hope the weather will be a little less dry. Any chance?

I just saw Kellen on E. Kellen, Ashley, and Dakota were at the opening for Push and they were interviewing them about the controversy over Jessica Simpson's weight gain. They all said it was sad that she couldn't be who she is and then Kellen says "I'm from the Midwest so I like my girls on the bigger side." Thought some ladies might be happy to hear that. lol

ugh...I think he's a horrible director. His movies are REALLY predictable if you pay attention and they're just not good all around. I finally stopped trying to watch his so I didn't see the Happening..I figure I'd given him enough chances and he STILL sucked...

Unfortunately, no offense, I hate Wide Awake, lol. I started reading it to see what all the fuss was about and I just didn't enjoy it at all. The again, I don't enjoy AH Twilight fanfics, taking away the vampires is like taking away the appeal of the story for me.

No offense taken. :thumbsup2 I didn't want to like it either. But then I forgot it was a Twilight fanfic and enjoyed it. I'm done with all of the Sookie books (loved it after Book 2), read The Host( loved it after Chapter 21) started Harry Potter and now I'm kinda bored. At least fanfic is free.

True, hehe. Since I finished Speak 2 weeks ago, I've been trying to get ahold of the Jon and Kate Plus 8 book, but it's sold out everywhere. So I think I'll finish re-reading New Moon and then re-read The Host before City of Glass comes out in March.

Multiple Blessings? It's everywhere, here! I saw like 5 copies in Target yesterday, while looking for the Sookie Stackhouse books. (Which I can't find) :goodvibes
