So I was playing with flair this morning on facebook. I read one that made me giggle, and my DH asked me what was so funny. I said that he wouldn't get it, but he insisted I read it to him anyway. It said "I want to La Push Jacob Black off a cliff". After I explained it to him, he said I was too obsessed with "that stupid book and movie", and that he was going to put a filter on my laptop that won't allow me to find anything with Twilight and Disney. I said "Go ahead and try and I will fake being crazy to get out of murder charges for killing you.":lmao:

Ok, this one made Sprite go up my nose today at work. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I wonder if mushroom ravioli would work?

Oh, YEAH! Future engineers of America, something like that. (he's an engineer at Boeing, and she's good at math and science, unlike me!)

Seriously, y'all, how do we do it? I really do have to hide my obsession. I know he's worried that I have read almost nothing else than these books since October. I usually read like a maniac. Every time he sees me with one of the books in my hands he sort of looks at me like I'm a little crazy! I just got Eclipse back from my friend, who's had it for 2 weeks. I read it through quickly before I gave it to her, and now I have read the first two again the intervening two weeks and I'm halfway through it again. I'm sick.

I don't hide my crazy anymore, it's too much darn trouble. My Mom asked me if I needed a book to read today, and my reply...."I don't read anything other than Twilight."
She handed me two books. Neither of them was BD, which she better be handing over. Real Soon. pirate:

:rotfl2: :rotfl: Seriously, some of you are wasting valuable talent on these boards!!! That was too funny-especially Rob with the blue light saber instead of the blue banana!:rolleyes1

Must not post what I am thinking.......:woohoo:

Oh my. :lmao: :lmao:

sparkling-new-year.gif

I did a "Make your new year's resolution" mad libs type thing on line...and here is the bizarre thing it came out with:

In 2009, I promise to...

* Stop biting my wolf
* Avoid shouting "OMG" at dazzling vampires
* Remember to say "Be Safe" whenever I fly
* Call my cliff diver at least 3 times a year
* Ask Edward Cullen to kiss with me
* Learn to growl flirty
* Try to glower a sparkly desire every eternity
* Quit dancing with Chevy trucks
* Travel to Isle Esme in order to propose a blood
* Be stunning to my mushroom ravioli
* Tell Carlyle Cullen to race a silver volvo

So she presents to you, "What if....." (excuse the poor photo cropping I did)

What if Rob were a Sparrow? Arrr... I love Depp, so maybe him as some other hot pirate! pirate:

Out of all those, I would want a hot Rob Jedi!!! But I enjoy him most as Edward....

I like him as the pirate! I love his eyebrows dark AND he could use his yummy accent... rrroww

Hey, thanks for the choir of peels! :rotfl:

LOVE you banana-picture story Travelmel!!!!! :rotfl2:

:
Oh, I think you're in charge. :lmao:

I just wanted to let you all know that I'm checking this before I head to work today, and as I'm scrolling down, my son (who will be four in February to give you the age range) sees all these, and says, "Mama, stop!" So I scroll back up, and he says, "Look at all the sillies!"

Yes.

Those are sillies.

:rotfl2:

Travelmel-LOVE LOVE LOVE the bananas-I bow to your higher ranking than me in our blue banana gang!:worship:

Thanks for the encouragement, ladies! I love it!

I'm quoting myself to chime in and say that *I LOVED THE MOVIE* almost as much as the books! Yes, there were some dorky extra quotes in the dialogue (spider monkey - are you kidding me?) and there were some big holes and things I think they shouldn't have left out, but even my friend who didn't want to go in the first place and hasn't read the books enjoyed it. And we both reveled in the fact that although we are old enough to be Robert Pattinson's mother - seriously - we were both completely in love (lust) with him by the end of the movie.:3dglasses

I agree 100% (well except for the mother part...:scared: )

:lmao:

I bought each of my teen daughters one for Christmas... they came folded in half flat :scared1: but opened up nicely - I just set them up and left them open and unwrapped with name tags hanging around his neck for each of them... they went nuts!

It was a big Twilight Christmas here! I got to go nuts and buy them all the t-shirts and stuff that I should probably be too old for...

BTW, the cut outs totally creeped out DD4, who as a bonus now stays out of her sisters' rooms

Good for you!! Pictures???

I went to the show last night to see Marley and Me and I went into see Twilight while we waited, and it was the ending. There were like 5 other women doing the same exact thing...It was so funny...
I can't believe that they have cut outs! Where did you get them?

I'd be right there! I'm going to see it again... with a newbie ;)

Tofubeast you are the queen of photoshop awesome pictures:D

Danielle, you the woman!

I got photoshop for xmas but I pouted and threw a tizzy saying it was too hard to use. Lucky my DH used to do phone support. he is SO patient!

I don't hide my crazy anymore, it's too much darn trouble. My Mom asked me if I needed a book to read today, and my reply...."I don't read anything other than Twilight."
She handed me two books. Neither of them was BD, which she better be handing over. Real Soon. pirate:

I have the same problem! My husband seems to be okay with the whole Twilight thing for the most part but I definitely hide the majority of the obsession. I can tell it bothers him a little bit-there's no way he'd let me go to a convention or a Forks trip:scared1: . He is okay with a Disney convention however-we keep talking about going to the one in Allentown, PA every summer but it always falls at a bad time for us.
I have a friend who's had New Moon for 3 weeks now and I'm starting to itch to get it back! I've been reading parts of Eclipse lately knowing that I'm going to lose that one next.

Sigh... can you find a twi-gal pal and get away and let your hubby go do something like..... (see post to avalon. LOL)

Wow ~ I have been neglecting my Disney obsession in favor of my Twilight obsession for awhile now, and I come back here to find a brand new part two thread! Any of you guys over on Twilight Moms? I practicaly live there for the past year!

They keep closing down threads that I'm reading and moving them. Too confusing. Plus, very restrictive. I'm with Deb.. good for news but....I like the Blue Banana Girls best!

And finally, (I know I post too much.. I talk to much too, I bet you're all shocked by that.)

ANYWAY,

I have been working all day and I have people coming over and my house is a mess and here I sit looking at more banana's. :sad2:

I'm Deb from Pa over there but I don't post much-I mostly hang out on this thread. I've used TwilightMoms for news and also to find other good books to read:surfweb: Welcome back!

Well, this seems like a fun thread to hang around! Still love my TM's -- (I'm Bella over there)

Happy New Year to all my DIS Board friends!

I could only find 'Eclipse' and 'Breaking Dawn' in hardback
Are either one in paperback?
