What is the school in Forks? Why is it unaffordable?:confused3

I can't find a price, but I think a 38 year old woman would stick out like a sore thumb.....unless she could hide among other 38 year old women....

Here's the link to the What Character are You

Which female character are you? Take the quiz to find out.

I'm an Esme. You are thoughtful and care very deeply for your family. A loving home is of great
importance to you and you always try to make people feel welcome. Although you have a great capacity to love, you also have a great capacity to hurt, so at times you can be
sensitive. You're firm when you need to be, but people trust your judgment and
appreciate the kind way you always handle things.

Much of her qualities do fit. Post yours.

Price Tag: $200 plus get yourself to Forks, WA. If my DD's were older I would definitely be able to say this would work as a literary/educational trip but they're not old enough for the book. AVALON, are you going to this???

Price Tag: $250 plus get youself to Dallas, TX

There's another convention in San Francisco in Feb 2009

Ticket prices range from $20- $269

EDIT: Sorry for the repeat!

See, the secret is tohide your crazy. Usually if you say stuff with a smile on your face, that works. Go ahead, try it. :)

Oh, I'm an expert at that. I've done a lot of work in retail.

With all kinds of people.

Do you have any idea how many crazies come out when there's a full moon? And no, they're not nice like Jacob. ;)

I would love to have the whole series from his perspective, but at this point just really want her to finish MS.

And yea, Edward reminds me of a few X's. Just minus the dazzle. And personality. And ....oh who am I kidding.

I would love that, too. The whole series from his perspective. There is something devastatingly attractive about that sort of melancholy, tormented soul. :::sigh::: Not that I've given it a lot of thought or anything. :rolleyes1

Out of all of the websites you guys showed me the Twicon 2009 in Texas looks the best... I am wondering though if the 255$ includes the room fee. Maybe I skimmed past that but that would be pretty neat. I wonder who would be visiting actor wise... RPATTZ PLEASE ;)

Oh, wow, I didn't know anything about this till you guys posted it just now. I don't know, $200 per person is kind of a lot. DD will be 14 by then and would probably love it. Plus I would feel a little silly. DH definitely wouldn't get it.

On the other hand, if some of you needed a place to stay, we might be able to really work a road trip like I was joking about a few weeks ago. It's a long trip from here-- about 3 hours including the ferry ride-- but it sure would be fun. :scratchin

this is ridiculous...we live in the DFW area, but $255 per person is just outrageous and they have a really stupid reason for why it is so expensive too...do they not realize that a lot of comic-cons are held all the time and the most I've ever paid to get into one is $45/person for a weekend and they have lots of guests and events too.
DH and I would love to attend this seeing as we're so close, but 1. we don't have the money and 2. even if I did, I wouldn't be paying that much for it...this is just pure greed in my mind. :scared1:  :sad2:

I thought it was a bit pricey!! I agree Violet!

Hope everyone had a DAZZLING holiday! Just back, a lot of reading to do on this thread! I've skimmed a few back pages, and great, fun info, as always! Love the new smilies. I took the quiz, and I'm an Esme! Back to reading. I really hope my mind gets to go in the gutter!;)

The San Francisco convention had a huge difference in price "tiers" from $20 general admission on up to $269 gold VIP type price. They have all the same stars that are listed below (attending in TX) with the addition of TAYLOR LAUTNER

I didn't NOTICE that they had any price "tiers" but maybe they do? :confused3

I think you can click on the tab "Special Guest" appearances and it looked like there were going to be

Texas and San Francisco Events Claim to have:

1) Carlyle
2) Jasper
3) Emmett
4) Alice
5) Mike Newman
* TAYLOR LAUTNER

(San Francisco ONLY)

Of course autographs would be extra, no doubt.

Wow Avalon, you're making it tempting as I'm right down here in Portland and could easily make it to Seattle. I wish there were better prices! Plus we'd have your DD to make us look official. :rolleyes1

Honestly though, I've been to a Twilight event and there were plenty of grown women. I don't think you should feel out of place even if you do go alone or alone with your DD.

I would love to go, but I have a feeling if I tell my DH that I need $255 to go he when put me in a mental hospital.

You need to take that advice about showing your crazy and saying it with a smile! ;)

BTW, I love your Dis name.
