I could comment on Sunnyday's "Edward waiting for me upstairs" thing, but... well... any of you other old-comfortably-marrieds have a little upswing in that department after reading a few of the steamier portions? DH is like, "Whoa, where did that come from? Not that I'm complaining!" Sorry, TMI.

I saw it!! I saw it!!! I saw it!! I bribed her with a hershey bar, m&m's, and taking her Ds. To the movies, not away! I also bought her nachos.

She LOVED it!!!! The entire time her eyes were glued to the screen, unless she was asking me a question. On the way home she said, "there are more books, right?" When I told her there were, she asked if they were making more movies. I said yes, and she said, "cool". I am so proud!


Back to me. I LOVED it!!! When Edward walked into the cafeteria, I seriously had to restrain myself from jumping up and yelling "There he is!!" As it was I watched the entire movie with a huge grin on my face. At one point DD asked what I was smiling at. *sigh* My bf you silly girl.

I am pretty sure he did mouth "I love you" in the garage, but I think it was to me, not Bella. Didn't notice any curtains moving, but I will be seeing it again so I'll check it out. The only thing I didn't care for was when Bella walked into biology for the first time and the fan was blowing. It just seemed cheesy. Oh one more thing I didn't care for. The ENDING. I just like them to follow the endings in books more closely. I'm still mad at Robert Redford for changing the end of The Horse Whisperer.

I thought Robert Pattinson ( my new bf by the way ) was great, and Kristen Stewart was pretty good as Bella.

So glad you got to see it and enjoyed it. I tried reading his lips in that scene in the garage and I don't think he's saying I love you to Bella.

LOL, I went and saw it for the second time today. That will be the last for me until it comes out on DVD. I still like it...maybe even more the second time around since it wasn't midnight and the theater wasn't packed. I'm already wanting details about New Moon....

DH and I saw it for the third time today(his idea ) But I think I'm cutting myself off for now...Now I just get to impatiently wait for the DVD and hopefully some really amazing extras!!!

So, I just got in from my 3rd viewing in a week! Sorry haven't had time to post anything yet. Anyhow, the 1st time I was way to critical of book vs. movie! I was disappointed in how fast everything went. I wanted to feel the same intensity I felt reading the books. I had to laugh out loud when I read someone's post a while back that Jasper was channeling Edward Scissorhands cause that's exacty what I thought too!!!
2nd time - was able to let the little things go and just enjoy everything. This viewing was mainly for focusing on the music and what was going on in the background. I was much happier this time and vowed to see in again soon.
3rd time - this time was all about gratuitous Edward watching!! When he was on screen, I didn't take my eyes off him once!!
Since I have been keeping up with this post I was able to look for some of the things mentioned...
- I did finally notice Emmett chewing food in the cafeteria. Not a huge deal since they are trying to look normal but still strange since they hate food!!

- I didn't blink once at Bella's curtain after her dream and I didn't see it move at all. But the wind was blowing outside so maybe it was just the tree moving thru the curtain. Either way, I still think he was really there since he watched her sleep all the time in the book.

-As for Edward saying I love you after she's in the car...I honestly have no idea what he was mouthing. However, it didn't really seem like I love you to me.

-Only this last time did I notice Victoria standing at the Roulette table inside the Prom. Good eye to whoever pointed that out earlier! When Edward & Bella first enter they literally walk right past her. I really think being that close to her, Edward really would have heard her thoughts!

Anyway, the movie has completely grown on me and I think I might have to see it once or twice more before it's out of the theater!! Yes, I also have a problem! If anyone would like to challenge that just go back and read my first post about how incapacitated I was while and after reading the books.
I'm still convinced that the books are laced with crack.

My daughter and I have been for the 5th time as well. We have free tix to go again because the theatre equipment broke down at the prom scene twice and we didn't get to see the credits. Luckily I could tell a few ppl there what happened at the end, lol.

They have to be laced with SOMETHING! Some kind of addictive subliminal messaging "you must love Edward!" YOU MUST LOVE EDWARD!" Heck it worked for me!

I don't know if I can stand NOT seeing it. I will probably re-read them 100 times by the time the DVD is released.
